That stupid shit is going to need an army of SS agents to protect him. Does Mar-a-Lago get 100 SS agents? I hope no ill will, and that he quickly fades into obscurity. But more than half of the country absolutely despises him.
And when they drag him out of the Oval Office, then what? He get’s one flight on AF1 to anywhere in the USA? Will they have to have a beast limo waiting for him when he gets there? I suspect there are a few of those armored limos stationed near Mar-a-Lago. Can the SS call for a beast limo or three to protect the ex-president? Can they demand no one on or near a golf course?

We’ll know soon enough. Local news in Wisconsin tonight had a story about three citizens withdrawing their voting fraud suit “with no explanation”. Then up came a big graphic alerting us all that Trump only has “until Wednesday 5 pm to request a recount, and pay up front for it!”
I think Trump gets away with a lot of this shit because he’s currently in charge. If someone else is President it seems like it would be a simple matter to quash his more obvious grifting maneuvers.
I didn’t post the news because I was working on a project and lots of other stuff seemed to be flying around here. But this outcome is exactly what President Obama was trying to prevent with TPP. So many didn’t seem to get that.

Let’s not write the US off altogether just yet, but I am having a hard time finding reasons to be optimistic. While China and other countries are investing in energy technology of the future, we can’t even pass an infrastuture bill to fix our old technologies. Half the fucking population thinks we’ll be OK if we just bring back coal, but this time it will be clean coal.
