Individual 1 claims victory in Nevada because one county commissioner vote in Clark County is rerunning because the difference in votes was 10, and there were enough errors that the margin of error is greater than 10. Somehow this proves he actually won Nevada.
Googling for pieces of that quote, I found umpteen cites that quoted the same. I chose to quote the Wiki page because I immediately found the original source cited there.
In a proposal to the court, the lawyers for the Trump campaign in one of the Pennsylvania lawsuits, suggested that they could obtain and count all or part of the Pennsylvania mail ballot envelopes, then let the judge know if he should declare them the winner.
Some ridicule Rudy’s appearance in court (he didn’t know what “opacity” or “strict scrutiny” meant.) But Hannity and others on the right praised him as brilliant.
“Many people are saying” – the new standard of jurisprudence.
Also, “more than a few people” = more than two. In this case, I’m guessing three people thought Rudy was “brilliant”: Trump, Rudy, and Hannity looking in the mirror.
I’ve always thought Hannity was the perfect image of a crooked used car salesman, and I suspect the only reason he didn’t pursue that profession was that he wasn’t bright enough.
Two MAGAts die and ascend to the Pearly Gates. God greets them and asks if they have any questions. One asks, “What was the real result of the 2020 election and who was behind the fraud?”
God says, “Joe Biden won the electoral college 306 to 232, fair and square. There was no fraud.”
The other MAGAt turns to the first one and says, “This goes even higher up than we thought.”
(notwithstanding the dubious idea of MAGAts going to heaven)
Meanwhile, Wayne County supervisors first blocked certification, then certified, and now we to rescind their vote.
I predict that blocking certification will become a thing, if not now in 2020, certainly in races going forward. Just like Republicans use the Courts to try and overturn elections and throw out votes, they will now uses the certification process.
Maybe it’s the lawyer in me, but I truly enjoyed the un-preparedness, the floundering, and the making a damn fool of himself that was Guiliani arguing in federal court. From not understanding levels of scrutiny (he responded with “The normal one”) to the sheer inanity of asking a court to throw out 6.8 million votes due to 2 allegations of not being allowed to vote, it was truly a dark comedy of errors. I really hope he’s getting paid the $20,000 a day from the Trump campaign for that kind of comedy gold.
