Noble.
I am not 100% onboard with this boxes idea. I mean, what did he bring into the WH to begin with? The idea of encouraging him to make off with anything that is not nailed down sounds ill-considered. Because we know he will try. He has already milked us for enough as it is.
Yup, every shipping box for the move out had better be checked thoroughly for stolen White House goods. And I worry about what a golf club could do to the Resolute desk – although perhaps he’d want to leave it intact for his second term after the Biden interregnum.I
I am guessing he will find some loophole to be able to sell the desk to himself for 1$ so no one else can sit at it.
But we don’t want to max it out - what if another scandal happens and we’ve wasted all our posts?
We’re averaging 44.44 posts per day. We should use the remaining posts very judiciously. Then we can blow them all on Jan 20 if we have any left.
Couldn’t agree with this more.
Yeah but that Trump guy, though - one crazy guy, that’s for sure, hey?
This got me curious about any benefits she will receive as an ex-first-lady. Donald will get a pension, money to set up and staff an office anywhere in the U.S. and yearly travel expenses up to $1,000,000. Melania will get $500,000 yearly for travel. That might not be enough to keep her around. Though, she would be eligible for a $20,000 yearly pension if she was widowed.
And, sadly, Donald was not a federal employee long enough to be entitled to healthcare benefits. It would suck if he had issues with his pre-existing covid condition. Maybe he should look into Obamacare.
Donnie is still having a temper tantrum.

The rest of that headline is:
Biden says the White House is cooperating fully with his transition, but that Trump still won’t speak to him
Dear God, that is soooo pathetic!
Another great big baby.
Some Republican senators have publicly acknowledged Democrat Joe Biden is the president-elect. Others have moved straight to criticizing his early Cabinet picks, even as President Trump continues to dispute the outcome of the Nov. 3 election.
But Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), three weeks after Election Day, has still not said much of anything at all.
McConnell’s ongoing silence, even as the Trump administration moves to allow Biden to start his transition, leaves a question mark over what could be the most important Washington relationship of the next two years — between an incoming president who promised to tackle the nation’s most pressing concerns and the win-at-all-costs Capitol Hill operator who may well serve as his legislative gatekeeper.
…
My bold.
Question mark? There’s no question mark. We know exactly who Mitch is and how he will attempt to (and mostly succeed in) blocking everything Biden tries to do. There’s no question at all.
“How many fucks would Melania give…” — in my mind, I hear Bob Dylan singing this.
But I prefer the Peter, Paul, and Mary version.
“A coward dies a thousand times before his death, but the valiant taste of death but once."
“Once is enough”.
But by remaining quiet, Mitch is doing what he does best. He’s not talking shit; he’s just being a shit. It’s his trade, and as much as I loathe him, he’s good at it.
Remember when Trump called out Mitch back in 2017, started trying to get others to gang up on him? People were thinking maybe Mitch was losing his control of the party and his power? Well, Trump’s gone. He’s not. He’s 78 and he’ll probably live and control the Senate another 78 years the way thins are going these days.
I strongly protest!
And to buttress your point, I’ll bold:
More like obstructing-at-every-turn-because-reasons scumbag.
So much for pussyfooting reporting being a thing of the past.
Just going to put this here:
Since Trump was elected, market valuations have almost doubled, from $20 trillion to $37.1 trillion, while the overall economy has grown from $19 trillion (as expressed in GDP) to $21.5 trillion.
The gap between market valuations and GDP is the widest in history 179% market cap to GDP. Last time it even approached this level was during the dot.com asset bubble of 2000.
Anyway, for those who argue the merits (or lack of)
the ‘economy’ based upon what the ‘markets’ are doing, this is yet another sobering reminder to SHUT THE FUCK UP.
He IS being a shit. And just plain rude! FFS, he and Biden go back 30-40 YEARS. A simple greeting won’t undermine Mitch’s stranglehold on the Senate-- or is he afraid it will?
When you sell your soul to the devil a long earthly life is usually part of the deal…
And this is a bad thing?
I mean, think about it: “Individual-ONE refuses to talk to you” and you complain about that?
# Georgia secretary of state says he’s a Trump voter ‘now being thrown under the bus by him’
Georgia’s secretary of state on Wednesday bemoaned President Trump’s criticism of him and other elections officials in the state, saying Trump has used them as a scapegoat in the wake of his election loss.
Ya don’t say! I, for one, am flabbergasted! I mean, who woulda thunk it???
