Interesting. As I recall, the only way Trump was allowed to make Mar a Lago into a private club was to agree that no one, including himself and his family, would be allowed to reside there, and members are only supposed to be there for a maximum of 3 weeks a year.
He flouted that agreement his entire time as President and his office more or less protected him, but in a few weeks he’ll be a private citizen and somehow, I think the city of West Palm Beach is looking forward to evicting his ass.

If I had any chops WRT social media, I’d start a project to mail and/or drop off cardboard boxes of all sizes at the White House. You know, to help with the packing. The kind U-Haul sells, or just empty amazon boxes (you’ll have to ask your cat to vacate them first). I picture hundreds of thousands of empty boxes being delivered to the street near the WH-- I gather you can’t get close to it. Piles and piles of them, piled so high you can’t see the Truman Balcony over them. Like that scene at the end of Miracle on 34th Street where they bring in bags and bags of mail and bury the judge under them. I want to see the fence in front of the WH obscured from view by zillions of boxes sent by Americans who want to help Donnie move out and move on. It’s a happy picture.
I recall reading the same. But at least he’ll be Palm Beach’s problem then and not ours. I do also wonder if Mel will hightail it to NY and leave him festering in FL. I suspect he’s reluctant to go back to NY because a) SDNY and b) I think he’s figured out exactly how much NYC residents loathe him.
I feel really bad for the secret service guys that will be stuck having to watch over his sorry ass. Everyone else will be free of his daily shit except them.

It turns out that it was a suicide staged to look like a murder, so that he would be executed, and it would later come out that the state had executed an innocent man, in an effort to prove that innocent people are executed, too
