I think the investigation into Hunter Biden has been simmering for several months – I think this was the case that Barr kept secret before the election, which is one of the things Trump is pissed at Barr about. It’s not really about overturning the election now.
Now Trump wants Barr to appoint a special prosecutor to continue that investigation, the point being that once Biden takes office, it will be difficult for Biden to fire the special prosecutor and shut the investigation down. (ETA: Although, if I’m reading the recent news aright, Barr has already done that.)
Trump has been doing, or trying to do, a lot of things lately, including various lame-dick (sic) appointments that will tie Biden’s hands. McConnell is all in with this too. It’s all part of the plan to sabotage the Biden administration, as well as Trump’s vindictive urge to leave nothing but scorched earth behind on his way out.
Oh good - Mike Flynn was there and kicked off his speech with the phrase “Don’t get bent out of shape…” - always a surefire way to warm up to and reassure your supporters. However, given that he’s talking to all those with Biden Derangement Synmdrome, I guess he sees the anguish, the dread, all the…the losing.

Trump only pays attention to Trump. US intelligence couldn’t give him enough dirt on Biden, so he resorted to pressuring Ukraine. He didn’t know if Russians were the good guys or bad guys. Even if one of his aides tossed a massive folder on his desk that definitely proves the existence of aliens, he’d say “How the fuck does this benefit me?”

It’ll be interesting to see if Barron takes to these concepts. I don’t think anyone in this horrible family exhibits (or even seems to be aware of) these qualities.

It makes perfect sense. They need to hold press conferences without masks, to tell people that it’s a liberal hoax. They are front line at-risk workers. This way they can do their job safely.
