I’m not even sure there have been any discussions in general about whether or not people who’ve already been sick should get vaccinated; everything has been so focused on front-line healthcare workers and elderly people in care homes. Of course, plenty of people in those groups have been sick as well. Maybe this is the last gasp of Trump the germaphobe; he’s made it perfectly clear that he doesn’t grasp science.
Those who fancy themselves aristocracy will always try to protect themselves ahead of the peasants and serfs. It’s obvious the Trump administration feel they’re above the rest of us, just as they feel they’re above the law.
I’ve heard she’s specifically gunning for Little Marco’s job. No idea if it’s true.
Which he is literally doing with federal death row inmates.
I wonder if we could convince them to harass Mitch for a while. Tell them that it’s all his fault for not supporting Trump hard enough. That’d be amusing.
I wonder if we could just get House democrats to pass a resolution to acknowledge that Donald Trump is the king of the solar system (except for the United States)…maybe that would be ointment for the ego.
Assuming no one is asking for financial aid, what purpose would personal and business tax returns serve? My kids went to private school for two years, no one wanted to see my tax returns.
Well, obviously that’s not the same caliber of school.Anyone can go there! Without seeing your financial statement, how can they be sure of getting the best students? Of providing the proper environment?
A letter of recommendation from Henry Kissinger goes a long way, too.
I assume its to make sure that you can actually pay the massive tuition that they require. They probably don’t want students who attend for a few weeks but then have to quit because they can’t pay the bills.
After looking at the school’s website, I think the most likely thing is that the original reporting is in error, and that tax records are only required if you are applying for financial aid, which is exactly the same as 99% of private schools in the US.
Although that doesn’t rule out Trump. His tax returns show massive losses, and he’s never shown any inclination to pay for anything himself if he can get somebody else to pay.
Maybe the general rule is to require financial information if you’re applying for aid, BUT that the school administration has the discretion to ask for demand financial statements where they deem it necessary. Like if the parent is well-known to be a lying, blustering, dishonorable deadbeat. It is a private school and ISTM they can ask for anything they want.
Meh. I’m not for laying the sins of the father at the feet of the son. The adult children have their own sins as part of the family but Barron, until he becomes an adult, should not be exposed to more of that shitshow than is strictly necessary.
As long as they pay the full tuition in advance (it is Trump, after all), there’s no reason they should have to jump through extra hoops regarding their finances.
