While I would not put it past Trump to veto a bill and then sign it to sow maximum confusion, I’m not seeing any indication that he has signed the Defense bill or withdrawn his veto of it.
That’s the defense procurement bill, not the covid relief bill.
Edit: oops, hadn’t noticed @hajario’s post, so was confused by why the defense bill veto was being brought up in response to what I thought was commentary about Trump signing the covid relief bill.
According to this chart, the defence bill was presented to the President on December 11, and he vetoed it on December 23, the absolute last day he could do so (the tenth day since presentment, not counting the two Sundays).
I don’t think there’s any authority to withdraw a veto, and the House is setting it down for further consideration tomorrow.
The irony of Loser Donald’s obsession is that if Section 230 were to be repealed, the first thing Twitter would do is ban him and delete his account so they don’t get sued every time he insults, defames, or threatens someone.
Trump’s opposition to the bill was putting the Georgia GOP candidates in a tough spot. I wonder if McConnell was able to convince him to sign it. If so, I wonder what he promised?

Comment: Not sure what this means, especially the quotation marks. Is it a fake “gift”? Will Putin and Xi write Donald very nice, beautiful, thank-you notes and then realise they’ve been conned in some way?
Comment: Right - approved. You approved what the hard-working folks in Congress, who have the power of the purse, have sent you each year. But no, it’s all about the Donald.
Comment: Right, the rusting USN aircraft carriers, the under-manned Army, the USAAF planes that couldn’t fly because of lack of spare parts; it was a national shame until January 2017. The US military was the laughing stock of the world’s military, until the Donald took charge and started making deals.
Comment: They’ll know, because you tweet about classified information and super-secret military assets all the time.
Comment: Right, the secret information put online by Wikileaks, and the concerted effort by Russian intelligence to post disinformation, as documented in the Mueller Report. Clearly, you want to restrict those threats to US national security.
Comment: Right, you don’t want to dishonour all the GI Joes and GI Janes who trained at Fort Bragg and Fort Hood. Their service would be all for naught if their cherished training bases were no longer named after traitors who took up arms against the United States.
Comment: Taking the names of traitorous white supremacists off of military bases would be a betrayal of the nation’s founding principles.
Comment: “My wall! my beautiful wall! Who cares if US military bases around the world are crumbling [see point made earlier about the “totally depleted” military]? I should be able to move money around as I see fit, regardless of Congressional appropriation laws, to build my beautiful wall!”
Comment: Shouldn’t you be telling your supporters about the benefits of 5G? how you want to increase the rollout of Covid in rural areas?
Comment: Yeah, what’s Congress playing at here? It’s almost as if they think they have the sole power to declare war.
Where’s Mikey? Not in Washington, that’s for sure.

Alleged vice president Mike Pence is in Vail, Colorado. We’re in the middle of a nationwide crisis and the guy “in charge” of it is takin’ an extended family ski trip. One you’re not supposed to know about, apparently.
…
Of special note, however, is that Pence evidently plans to stay on vacation and out of his Washington office through New Year’s. He’ll pop back at some point after that to awkwardly chair the joint session of Congress that will accept the votes of the Electoral College, formally confirming Joe Biden’s presidential victory. He will then on the same day bolt off to Europe and the Middle East for one last government-funded tour.

Individual 1 economic advisor Stephen Moore says only corporations and rich people should get economic stimulus. He also thinks there should be another tax cut.
The vice-chair of Florida’s GOP has proposed Palm Beach International, which is the closest large airport to Mar-a-Lago. Thing is, that’s up to the county commissioners, who are majority Democrat.
Meanwhile, Trump has specifically asked some subordinates what it would take to get an airport in his name. Until the renaming of Washington National for Reagan, the answer was “die.” I guess now it’s “be terminally ill or die.”
