The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

So let’s give the Nobel Peace Prize to a guy who can’t get along with Canada.

“She didn’t mean to say it.” Huh, huh.

I’ll be laughing about this for a bit. Thanks.

Of course, that will be a Democratic president, so the Republican filth will go back to whining about it.

 More jobs than applicants. Unemployment at historic lows. Man, this economy is being destroyed. I knew it was when I looked at my bank account and every day I am richer than the day before. The winning just never stops. Must suck to be a loser, hating the Trump wins.

You are fortunate to not be a farmer, or a blue collar worker, or any of the other demographics that trump got to vote for him in the promise that he would be helping them.

You are fortunate to be in the smaller class of people who were already well off, and are going to be even better off short term, under the short sighted and greed inspired policies of this administration.

Oh, Donny Boy
The krauts, the frogs aren’t calling
Nips and wops say please, just go away
They hate our guts, and who the hell can blame them?
The world mourns our last election day

Oh, Donny Boy
Shit fucking Christ, oh Donny Boy…

This.

You are fortunate to be part of that group whose motto is, “I got mine so fuck everyone else.”

If it were to happen, it’s unlikely that he’d have to sit to hide it.

As unbelievable as it seems, it would appear that Trump’s people are preparing to blame Justin Trudeau for the inevitable failure of the meeting with Kim Jong Un.

It seems like one, though, in a certain sort of mind. In certain cultures, pride and a certain brittle honor can seem more important than prosperity and peace, and compromise is seen as weakness. Despite democracy, capitalism, and modernity, I don’t know that this sort of thinking has never really been educated out of the Scots and the English; rather, I fear those cultures still grow it, educate it into their common people’s minds. It’s part of nationalism or something, and some mad branches of the right wing love it. The jingoist shows his “love of country” by his hatred of other countries. Those who disagree are “rootless cosmopolitans.” And of course the USA’s electorate includes descendants of the worst kind of Scots and English Puritans. If Trump were a diplomat, he’d just be a businessman to them, and a little suspicious; but when he blows everything up, he will be acclaimed as a hero.

I think it would be pretty cool for Trump to succeed in convincing North Korea to get rid of its nukes, only to have Canada buy them so they end up right on the US border. I know we can make our own, but this may be more convenient, and we’re probably gonna need 'em.

“Why would they turn on” Trump? You seem to have more faith in their prioritizing loyalty than I do. I don’t see them as motivated by loyalty much at all. Pretty much any Republican can get them the tax cuts they want.

My guess is that they’d prefer a Republican who’s sane and stable to one who clearly is not—I believe they’d see their interests better represented by such a person. The key is the pressure they could bring to bear on Congressional Republicans, of course—if they want Pence or Ryan instead of Trump, then there’s a good chance it will happen. And the more Trump goes off on these loony (no pun intended) Adventures in Economic Chaos, the more likely the donors are to decide to deep-six him.

Larry Kudlow was acting like a meth addict tweaking this morning.

He knows he’s made himself unemployable. Even Fox won’t want to hire someone who has so pronounced a ‘tell’ when he lies.

He has to hope this gig lasts the rest of his working life.

Can’t get along with Canada but can get along with North Korea?

YES! Thought it was just me - he reminded me of Lewis Black during one of his more memorable rants on The Daily Show.

Name a policy or piece of legislation that Trump enacted that brought about this utopia.

Make the “P” perfidious = deceitful and untrustworthy; for a better fit to Agent Orange.

Nobody can be that fucking stupid. Nobody can have that short of a memory.

Reagan and Bush 1 exploded the deficit. Clinton made tough choices, and over 8 years actually achieved a budget surplus. So Bush 2 comes along and explodes the deficit again, and runs the economy into a ditch, and almost over a cliff.

Obama inherits runaway unemployment and recession. Makes tough choices, gets the economy back on track. Unemployment is going down, the stock market is almost tripling, and all Republicans can say is, “But the DEFICIT!! Deficits are horrible things from the pit of hell!!!”

And it works on idiots like you, so Trump gets elected. First thing he does is cut taxes while raising spending, just like Bush, exploding the deficit again. No, my bad, first thing he does is say that unemployment, which has been going down under Obama for years, is going down because of him, and the stock market, which has been going up under Obama for years, is going up because of him. Only an idiot would believe it, but you do.

Next thing he does is take an axe to the regulations that would prevent another Bush banking disaster. And to put a cherry on it, he’s getting us into needless trade wars with our ALLIES.

And because of idiots like you, when he has us on the brink of disaster and a Democrat is voted in who will again make the hard choices to repair Trump’s damage, Fox News will rediscover that deficits are horrible, and Republicans will obstruct every constructive move to fix things.

Let’s not feed the trolls.
