Y’know some days I really mis guillotines.
Hey, at least she didn’t hashtag it.
I sincerely believe that we will all (including Business Insider) turn out to have been duped by some photoshopping. Nobody’s that stupid.
Her rep already confirmed it.
Every Democrat should be making a jacket that says “I really do care. Don’t you?” And heading to the border.
:eek::smack::mad:
I stand corrected. Our first lady really is just that stupid.
I don’t think it’s stupidity. I think it was a passive-aggressive display of annoyance at being dragged out for a photo op.
Don’t worry, we’re just mocking him.
This is another calculated move. It is obvious strategy, and so far, it has been working.

[li]lower level of discourse (aim below gutter)[/li][li]stun/shock opponents bigly[/li][li]keep them off balance[/li][li]infuriate them[/ul][/li]The master taught me: “go not angry ever into a fight; find first calm energy, that you shall be awareness, not the flail”.
They are trying to sow chaos into left field, to make easier for them to plow under. The anti-cheetos need to step back, recognize that these people are scum and carefully scrape them off the top and sides of the melting pot, so that proper business can be got back to.
The sheer incompetence of this administration is mind-boggling. They managed to screw up what should have been an easy win, a feel-good photo op.
I imagine that somebody in the White House knows what “good optics” looks like (they weren’t hired because they have the skill, it was just a bonus.) If that someone has any authority they are probably reaming a new one on some poor First Lady’s staffer even as we speak.
And it may be a long time before we see Melania off her leash again.
Lost in the whole kerfuffle over the jacket, but how much did the administration spend to send the First Lady a thousand miles to personally look into a situation that the President supposedly fixed yesterday?
You and I have been to Duluth, bucko. Might as well be in Tierra Del Fuego.
That jacket would be in poor taste if it were Cardi B. wearing it to a strippers convention. That a First Lady wore it EVER, ANYWHERE, is bad enough. But that she wore it for a tour of her husband’s growing humanitarian atrocity, I can’t even…
Is this a prenup evasion strategy or something?
I get where you’re coming from, but in a normal administration I would just chalk this up as the cost of doing business. Part of the job of the president is demonstrating empathy, and that often involves travel purely for symbolic purposes.
Of course this president is completely without empathy, which is how we got into this situation, and why he had to outsource the job.
Great comment on an online article: “Because her F U ALL AND GO TO HELL” jacket was at the cleaners."
That wasn’t me, that was George Clooney. Happens all the time.
I phrased that poorly. It’s not the money, really, but it represents a “ready, fire, aim!” mentality that makes no sense to me. A normal administration would gather information, and then enact policy based on what they learned. What’s the point in doing it the other way around?
One going around twitter right now:
Stupid or just a really crappy person, like her husband. Or both.
