So, just to be clear, not only should I be able to “say” whatever I want in support of my political candidate (note: in this context “say” means “give someone lots of money”), but nobody should be able to know I “said” what I “said”, even the police.

Did Trump just not show up? I saw a live feed from Politico on Facebook, that said “Trump is giving remarks after his widely criticized meeting with Putin,” and referenced that Trump would speak shortly. A bunch of mealy-mouthed senators were speaking, and then it just ended.
