What the holy hell is wrong with this man. How can anyone follow someone so callous about how his actions affect others. Years? This shutdown is hurting more people than the lack of a damn wall. He’s pulling the old ‘my way or the highway’ maneuver and it’s sickening.
He is wealthy and does not understand what it is like to have no income.
Did Individual 1 just say that he has built a steel wall along the California-Mexico border because Californians asked for one, even though a steel wall is more expensive than a concrete wall? Where is this alleged wall, what Californians asked for it, and when was it built?

I’d like to point more notice to our milquetoast VP who’s backing this idiot even more now by either saying nothing or continually praising the orange shit out of him. He’s all wall too. Does he realize this makes him look complicit in all this mess?
He does not care. He’s riding this shit storm out, probably wagering that Trump doesn’t make it.
Federal employees can’t respond to oversight requests while the government is closed. He’s using the wall impasse as a strategy to defend himself from the House Congressional Committees.
(Note: I’m not entirely sure that it works like that, but I suspect that it throws a wrench in to the system at least.)
The Democrats really need to say that 1) they don’t support the wall because they expect Trump to use it as an embezzlement scheme, and 2) they will pass a law where they can arrest those who have ever knowingly employed an Illegal worker (like Trump).

At the very least, Trump is planning on keeping this shut-down going, because he wants there to be a different topic of conversation, rather than us hearing about his tax returns, his fake wealth, and his complicity with Russian interference.

Hmmmm. Well as usual, it would seem that Trump is uneducated in the matter of what exactly he has the power to do:
