Of course, Trump did. That’s because Trump is rarely capable of admitting he’s made a mistake. He’s a “stable genius” in his mind; if facts don’t agree with him it’s Fake News.
Some insight on what goes on in Trump’s hamster wheel-powered brain (although, not really):
Think about this. In Trump’s mind, the biggest mistake he’s made as President (granted, it’s a while ago) was condemning "racism, the “KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups” at Charlottesville.
Trump’s a preening peacock with a peabrain suffering from whatever the avian version of mange is called. See his CPAC performance.
It’s all about how he thinks he looks on TV to his base and Fox News (although he’s having a spat with Ann Coulter right now).
Close. He argued that the reason he wasn’t a champion was that he was too busy being president. So he argued/bullied/cajoled the champion into agreeing to play a round for the title, to which the champion agreed. when Trump beat him, he generously allowed him to be a “co-champion” instead of hogging it all himself.
It strikes me as blatant intimidation, but what do I know?
What would happen if the NY AG subpoena’d Deutsche Bank for information concerning Trump loans? Well, just wait and see!
“The New York attorney general has subpoenaed records from Deutsche Bank related to three large loans the bank extended to President Trump’s company in recent years — and a fourth loan that Trump sought to buy the NFL’s Buffalo Bills, according to two sources familiar with the subpoenas.
Those subpoenas signal a significant new inquiry by state regulators into the Trump Organization’s financing.
The subpoena follows congressional testimony by Michael Cohen — Trump’s former lawyer and longtime self-proclaimed “fixer” — that Trump inflated his net worth in documents he sent to Deutsche Bank while seeking loans.”
I was thinking about something from Cohen’s public testimony - at one point he tried to minimize his bank fraud charges ( he lied on loan applications) by mentioning that he didn’t default on the loans in question. And one of those Freedom Caucus asswipes — I think it was Gym Jordan - went ballistic.
And delivered a long and very detailed speech about how lying on loan applications hurts the public even if the loans don’t default.
I thought to myself “HaHaHa, this is going to come back and bite you in the ass, you cretinous traitor”.
Because they are going to find all those lies on Trump’s loan applications and all his defenders will be saying “It’s not that big of a deal, he repaid all the loans and no one got hurt and no one lost money.”
And we will have that well rehearsed speech detailing exactly how lying on loan apps costs the public money.”
