Should I just believe EP when he states Putin told Trump who the new ambassador should be and just disbelieve the items in the article EP linked to support his statement, that disagree with the statement EP made ? Maybe we should just make up random shit because it sounds like it might be true and fits our view of the world.

When I read " - before Huntsman resigned" I took it that EP was implying that Putin informing Trump with a new name for the Ambassador was the catalyst for forcing Huntsmans resignation. Now I see EP was simply stating the facts of the time line of a conjectured event and nothing more, my bad.
I agree this administration is a cluster, this is not evidence of it.
I read EP’s post as kidding on the square. To be honest, I’m sure it’s a best practice to quietly vet ambassadors with the countries they’ll be taking up residence in… but in the past I’m pretty sure it was done through channels rather than the Presidents cell.
Does Google owe some allegiance to the US military that I’m unaware about?
