Wow, it sounds like with the “major rebuild” trump is hoping to get his finger in the pie if Kim Jong-Un orders the Wonsan-Kalma tourist area to be rebuilt. If he tries to parlay that into a profit for himself, as he does with everything else, that would probably start off yet another years-long lawsuit.
It’s an interesting scenario, but who would fund him in such a large endeavor? I have the feeling that Deutsche Bank might be a bit skittish about it, given all the scrutiny they’re now under for their past Trump associations …

Well, didn’t Mulvaney say that trump still thinks he’s in the hospitality business? It’s interesting that he said that not long before trump starts talking about his super good dictator friend’s “major rebuild.”
I don’t know how he would fund it, but he must think there’s something in there for him to exploit some way. Maybe he thinks he can use the cachet of being president to talk/bully some private investors into a “deal” or something. I just wouldn’t be surprised if he’s got some ideas for how to make a bunch of money on this for himself while leaving others holding the bag.
