With no clear successor in place, I’m thinking Trump hopes he’ll be named the new head of North Korea. He’s already picked out his title: Hugest Leader.
And he’ll re-name it “North Covfefe”.
Well, maybe. But anyone who has noticed our long human history of believing what we need to believe rather than the bleeding obvious…will pause. Not proven. Probably not provable.
How is this supposed to work? Trump to sign order keeping meat processing plants open.
I mean, if everyone who works at a plant becomes ill and cannot work, how is the executive order going to change that? 
I saw that a bit ago and can’t decide if it’s necessary. We don’t NEED meat, after all. And better to let the processing plants work with skeleton crews or shut down selected facilities to keep SOME open, rather than eventually shutting them all down because there are too many sick workers to operate them.
Today, Mike Pence visited the Mayo Clinic and interacted with patients; I think they were COVID-19 patients. The Mayo Clinic has a 100% “you must wear a mask” rule in place.
Pence didn’t wear a mask. He was the only one there not wearing a mask. And he was elbow bumping with lots of people, so you know he *also *wasn’t maintaining a 6-foot distance, either.
Yeah I don’t get it. If everyone at meat packing plants get sick, then how is an EO going to keep the plants running? I guess he’s worried about his supply of hamberders.
It was weird because over the weekend a taco cabana near us wasn’t making enchiladas because of the meat shortage, but they did have soft tacos stuffed full of chicken.

Empty food shelves at the grocery store next week would make him look bad.
Of course he’ll look worse when the shelves are empty for several weeks when all the workers are sick. But that would be thinking ahead, something Trump is not good at.
