The right-wing spin machine is off its game. Based on what we saw about Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown, I thought we’d be flooded with memes and bullshit about George Floyd’s secret criminal history already.
Funny you should mention that!
(This is a couple of weeks old so it doesn’t incorporate the latest news.)
Saw one of those today from a Trumpista relation, with a nifty new spin. To summarize a lengthy incoherent screed: “It doesn’t matter that George Floyd was a violent criminal with a history of theft and armed robbery, because Black Lives Matter!”.
Subtle as a brick, that one.
Didn’t we see this coming?
Remember that visit he did a week-or-so ago to the factory making face masks? The pictures showed him, sans mask, breathing on a bin full of masks. I’m sure somebody on this very board (maybe in this very thread?) remarked that those masks were probably contaminated.
This one-man walking cesspool of a president in our very own Typhoid Trump.
“I saw a big white house down on Pennsylvania Avenue
I said 'open up the gate, this can’t wait”
and they said ‘who are you?’
I said I was a citizen trying to cut a deal
on a Russian unicycle with a missing wheel
and they let me through.
I saw a clown with a combover trying to float a loan
through the C.I.A. while he tweeted on his phone
But there’s nobody home."
In his entire life, has this self-absorbed moron ever touched anything that didn’t turn to shit as a consequence?
It’s a rhetorical question, right?
It’s almost as if he has the reverse of the Midas touch (which sounds clever and original, but I was a little disappointed to find is in the Urban Dictionary).
Meta!
The Mierda Touch.
Laughter is the Best Medicine (for an endangered republic/democracy)…
A failed state with a fascist president.
It’d be great to have tape of this to show to the orange-loving ingrates. Might get at least 100 to vote against him!
I’ve seen claims that George Floyd and the cop are both actors and they were paid by Soros to make Individual 1 look bad.
Even putting ridiculous conspiracy theories like this aside, murdering someone, and then searching for reasons why they were guilty, is something that totalitarian governments have always done.
Individual 1 visits Maine, says he will allow fishing in a marine conservation area, says the governor is a dictator for not opening up the state.
Trump bragged about how many of those swabs he’s used up while contaminating an entire day’s worth of production.
The Governor’s response. My favorite part is, “I have spent the better part of my career listening to loud men talk tough to disguise their weakness. That’s what I heard today.”
How was a cop killing a suspect in Minneapolis supposed to make the President of the United States look bad?
