Possibly we’re hearing this new meme in an effort to cultivate acceptance of the outcome in 2020 among the opposition, against all credible evidence. Much like 2016. How many people continue to talk about 2016 as if it were a legitimate election, even though we now know it was anything but?
I remember the feeling I had when it was announced that Trump had “won.” I knew something had gone terribly wrong. And it had. But there was an effort, even among people on this board, to force an acceptance of legitimacy.
It wasn’t legitimate. It was a technical win, but only obtained through illegal means. I think it’s possible we’re being set up for that again, and that’s why they’re talking about it already.
Can’t let 24 hours pass without having something here…
Trump blames GOP for their failed health-care agenda: “I’m not going to blame myself. I’ll be honest they are not getting the job done,” Trump told reporters at a Cabinet meeting.
Too bad he’s not so good at social media and can’t get enough people to contact their senators telling them how great the bill is - you know, use his bully-pulpit thingy. Maybe it’s because he thinks health-care is hard, too hard to fit into 140 characters.
Considering he just said that Congress couldn’t get the job done on repealing Obamacare, this assurance of a ““short-term” legislative fix” doesn’t feel compelling.
It’s really very simple. Obamacare was a failing program, totally failing, which is why Congress was trying to replace it with totally great healthcare. They failed to do this, which was in no way Trump’s fault. So Trump has no choice but to take actions to eliminate failing Obamacare, but Trump is not at fault for any of the results of his actions because Obamacare had already failed before Trump killed it. And Trump can’t accept any fixes from Congress that would stabilize the system because it was already a failure and also he just killed it, but he isn’t at all at fault for anything that happens from here on out.
Just keep in mind that Trump is the ultimate decider and in charge of everything, and simultaneously responsible for nothing.
When called out about why he hasn’t mentioned the soldiers killed in Niger, Trump lied that Obama and other presidents never called the families of fallen soldiers.
I like the way the weasel* backtracks into “I’ve been told Obama didn’t make calls…” which means “I read it on Breitbart”. Or more likely, an aide read it on Breitbart and told him about it.
*weasels are too slim. “Badger”, I guess, would be more appropriate.
I guess you could interpret that to mean “an unfettered free press catching a politician in a bald-faced lie, and that’s great” but that’s probably not what Fox meant.
For those without HBO: for the last few weeks John Oliver has done a bit where they show a clip of Trump telling a blatant and easily refuted lie. Oliver bangs a big button on his desk and shouts “We got him!”. Confetti showers, marching band…and then he says “wait, wait, cut…he’s still president” and resumes the show.
Please, like, read the stuff before you post links. Then post a quote, such as

Because that is a very long article. Its subject matter is entirely VP Farthing. I scanned down half of the content to see if I could find what you meant. It is not there. Knock off with the bullshit posts.
