The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

Yeah, Trump is mocking Pence, not gay people.

Meanwhile, the local news is having live coverage of his (the Cheeto in Chief, not Pence) just now landing about 20 miles from me in Greenville, SC, on his way to some campaign rally or something. The local stations are even required to turn off their traffic cameras while the turd is rolling.

But what inspired Trump to make that specific joke? Pence is no friend of gays and want to relegate them to second or third-class citizenship.

Yes, but the point is that the butt of the joke was Pence, not gay people.

But what prompted him to characterize Pence that way?

Oral diarrhea and an irresistible urge to bully?

It makes Trump look better by comparison. It hurts Mike Pence. It’s another dig at someone who Trump needs. Trump was thinking “I’ll impress Bannon if I dig at this guy.”

I could go on, but it’s a typical abusers comment.

Exactly. When it comes to DJT, asking *why *is futile. If a bus comes by and he feels like throwing someone under it… that’s what he does. Like a 2-year old.

It does not seem to be a matter of whether or not he feels like it. I get the feeling that whenever he sees a bus approaching, he instinctively looks around for someone he can throw under it. Because that is what buses are for.

It really is a classic abuser habit, though. He has to inflict pain on others, it is the defining element of both his personality and administration.

He hasn’t even done it yet. He has given himself credit for what he thinks he is going to do.

It is difficult to write a letter. There are 26 to choose from.

The hard part is deciding which one to start with.
Who knew alphabeting could be so hard?

You don’t see the part about laughing about Pence wanting to hang all gay people? I’m sorry that you’re so reading challenged.

Sorry. I was disinclined to dig through a lengthy story about America’s AssWart, in a way that is analogous to “here, watch this 20 minute video that explains my ideology in excruciating detail”.

You should get one of the newer computers, that allows you to search a page for “joke.”

Quoted to say, rather prescient; we’re already seeing the beginnings of this with the Charlottesville killing and beatings, the right-winger planting a bomb in an airport, and scattered white nationalist rallies. Assuming Trump continues to fail to accomplish anything legislatively (and assuming he doesn’t do something catastrophic like starting a war with Iran or North Korea), I think this is what Trump’s presidency will be most remembered for; taking the existing polarization in our politics and jacking it up to insane levels.

As the small margin of people who supported him from the outset (60% disapproval rating *on election day) continues to shrink, I think the number of these incidents will rise as Trump supporters become increasingly marginalized by the rest of society and simply by remaining Trump supporters are far more likely to be extremists of some variety. They’ll perceive themselves as slighted victims and act accordingly.

Just when I thought I couldn’t hate the cocksucker more…

Looking on the bright side, if we catch Trump talking to himself on camera, removing him from office via the 25th Amendment becomes plausible.

I think the words that should be coming from the lips of everyone who hates Trump, from now until 2020, should be:

“We can keep the military in Afghanistan for 16 years, but we can’t afford to keep the military in a U.S. disaster zone helping U.S. citizens for more than a month?”

The editorial board of The New York Times disapproves of Trump’s foreign “policy.” Not new news of course; but still they make their case eloquently and with a calmness some of us couldn’t maintain.
