Not really. Trump remains somewhere between a complete laughingstock and a serious threat worldwide. The main areas where he’s seen any success in his agenda is worsening the culture war. The government is being staffed by incompetent ideologues and there’s serious rot going on beneath the surface. It’s probably a good thing that the Trump administration failed to repeal Obamacare, but he’s still been leaning very hard on sabotage. It has not been a good year.
