The Trump Administration: The Clusterfuck Continues (Part 2)

We call that club a “foot mashie.”

Not sure about Columbia, but the tiny cars was in a post on Untruth Social this morning.

‘I have just approved TINY CARS to be built in America,’ the president wrote on Truth Social Friday morning.

Trump is now fully in favor of tiny cars after seeing how many clowns can fit in one.

He realized he could have a very simple way for his entire administration to travel.

Sorry to be pedant, but having been to both Columbia Maryland, and Colombia the country, the place he was referring to is spelled with an O!

I honestly have no idea. Generally speaking, small cars don’t sell well, they don’t make much profit, and US automakers have responded by killing the ones they have over the last 20 years.

I’m a big fan of small cars, but the problem with these Kei cars is 1) They won’t pass US crash regulations, and 2) they can’t really do highway speeds. The latter can be fixed with some gearing ratio changes, but they’re built for small city streets with low speeds and therefore lower risk of serious injury in crashes. And the reason they exist in the first place isn’t because Japanese consumers demand small cars, it’s because Japan taxes the hell out of cars and Kei cars get a much lower tax rate.

The US should absolutely do the same thing (high taxes on large cars), and if they don’t, nobody will buy these.

If he signs a law to bring back the Nissan Cube, I’ll commit voter fraud to vote for him. It was a small car, but I, quite a large fellow, could fit in it. If North American small cars were more like that, I think they’d sell. How is it Japan can make small cars with large interiors, but Ford, et al can’t?

I drive a Chevy Spark and I love it. It’s small, in the sense that it can only fit two people in the back seat, and it has a small trunk. But it turns on a dime and fits easily in parking spots that a regular-sized car might be difficult to fit into. Plus, it has a reasonable range, can drive fast, handle hills; it’s a real car. Mileage is really good as well.

Sadly, it was discontinued in 2022.

Same for the Kia Soul…and this is the last year they are being made.

Yeah, the Soul is similar, but still not quite as much room as the Cube. See also the Scion XB.

I considered a used Cube, but that wraparound window is an expensive and troublesome thing to replace.

It was also one of the features I liked! So quirky, but everyone else hated it.

Ford made the Transit Connect, which was very boxy. It was a class larger than the Cube, though. They also went through some shenanigans to import it at all (to try to make some money on it) and it ended up costing them 1/3 of a billion dollars in fines or something.

The administration is moving to deny visas to those who have worked in online content moderation, fact-checking, and things of that nature.

True or False: Trump has ended 8 wars: :white_check_mark: :cross_mark:

Here is a fact check by the AP.

I’ll summarize the 8 “wars he ended”:

Israel and Hamas: There is a shaky ceasefire and a hostage deal worked out, but the war is far from over.

Israel and Iran: There was a brief, 12 day “hot war”, which he helped negotiate an end to, but their cold war is continuing and can flare up at any time. Nothing approaching peace has occurred there.

Egypt and Ethiopia: There was no war to begin with. This was a disagreement over a dam on the Blue Nile River. The US tried to negotiate to ease tensions, but those talks stalled, and there is just as much tension as there was before. Again, there was no war, and Trump didn’t even really achieve any changes in the non-war.

India and Pakistan: No war actually broke out, but it got close to a war starting before a ceasefire was reached. Pakistan gave Trump credit for helping, India claims that the US never even talked to India so it didn’t have anything to do with it. Regardless of the truth, again there wasn’t even a war to begin with.

Serbia and Kosovo: Not only was there no war, there wasn’t even any kind of recent conflict. Rather, NATO has been keeping the peace in the area, so there was nothing for Trump to even do. This is a complete fabrication from a bullshitter.

Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo: The war is still ongoing, and fighting has continued. Trump did help negotiate a peace deal between Rwanda and the Congo, but rebels are still fighting and weren’t part of that deal, so the war wasn’t ended. Even if it was, Trump couldn’t claim he did it himself. Qatar has had the largest role in trying to bring peace, but those efforts have stalled.

Armenia and Azerbaijan: I’ll give him credit for almost ending a war. It’s pretty close. Both parties agreed to a ceasefire, and a peace deal is in the works, but not done yet. When they do sign the treaty, I think it’s fair for him to take credit for this one, but not quite yet.

Cambodia and Thailand: There was a conflict, but it doesn’t seem to have escalated to a true war, and all Trump did was again help negotiate a ceasefire. Now, he did achieve that pretty much on his own, by threatening tariffs on both countries (so his tariffs have actually been used in a productive way, that’s a miracle). But claiming to have ended a war here is a huge exaggeration.

So to sum up, he claims to have ended 8 wars, when in reality he is pretty close to ending just one. Which, hey, that’s an accomplishment, but it’s very far from what he’s claiming.

Watch out. Visas are one thing. Got a blue American Passport? Fact Checking? Risky.

I actually want to give up my USA citizenship. I will never live in the USA again (for more than 90 days that the Golden Irish Passport conveys). Yet it costs $3,000, an interview at the embassy and an IRS audit.

An Octahedron?

You, too, can now join the felon’s war on journalism!

The felon’s flack has an interesting whine take on the situation.

I’m fairly certain I prediced this one. It took no ESP whatsoever.

Let’s be clear here. The first awardee for this “peace prize” is someone who is currently, actively, and proudly committing crimes against humanity.

The felon’s making being a refugee in America untenable. This bit of news is buried all the way at the bottom of the article.

Killer Kennedy really doesn’t want babies to live.

And the killings will continue until who the fuck knows what improves.

But, hey, it’s all cool because they’re headed to America, right? Right?

I mentioned before I’m not willing to believe anything from the felon and his fools about these murders absent a video backing up what they assert. I’ve no problem trusting a realiable reporter from Congress, though.

The Trump regime is moving to eliminate rape protections for trans, intersex, and gender non-conforming people in jails and prisons.

Fuck this administration.

One of the most powerful warships on the planet can locate, target, and kill a small motorboat… but it can’t find the mothership?
