The key word in all of this is “says”. Trump SAYS he’ll “nationalize” the elections. Trump SAYS a lot of things. Many of them have no connection whatsoever to reality or what he or his admin are actually going to do. He SAID last May that he was banning mail-in voting. He then said it again in October and last week. He SAID he would not allow Zohran to become mayor of NYC. He wound up calling in love with him in the Oval Office. He SAID there would be $5000 DOGE checks and $2000 tariff checks. My bank account is still looking kinda slim.
Trump is now going with “Nobody knew that was in the video”.
“I looked at the beginning of it. It was fine,” he said, referring to the first part of the video that contained debunked claims about fraud in voting machines.
“It was a very strong post in terms of voter fraud,” he went on. “Nobody knew that that was in the end. If they would have looked, they would have seen it, and probably they would have had the sense to take it down.”
A judge has now blocked Trump from holding up the funding.

It might be something specific to this one officer. Here’s the whistleblower’s email;
Our unit is a combat outfit. Our unit commander requires active participation from our unit members at what he determines to be official “Unit Activity Events” or UAEs which are supposed to create a bond within our combat unit and its families.
His UAE events have been everything from unit softball games, flag football contests, barbecues and picnics and “movie nights” for our unit members and their families. He has also held Bible studies and given these “UAE” status for those of us who attend.
Attendance at all of these UAEs is not mandatory but our unit Commander requires attendance at least at 3 of the 4 these each month. He is the person who decides what is a UAE and what is not. Failure to attend the minimum of 3 UAEs per month will be negatively reflected in our fitness eval reports.
Bible studies, huh? Let me guess. Ethiopian canon, Orthodox canon, and Roman Catholic canon aren’t “approved”.
I’d be tempted to show up with a JPS Tanakh and suggest we discuss this week’s parshah.
