I watched some youtube videos of that hearing. That woman is unbelievably hostile and defensive of Trump. “Unproffessional” doesn’t even come close to describing her.
This ATTACK MODE has become par for the course for administration officials testifying before Congress. Attack the questioner; deflect; talk over the representative; throw out sound bites and dog whistles for the cult. And above all, don’t answer the question. Contempt citations - alas not while the Republican chairmen are sitting on their hands or have them clasped over their ears.

Ok, Trump heard that Lutnick brought his kids. To the island home of Jeffrey Epstein. A convicted child rapist. Who raped kids on his island. And Trump was aware of this. And we’re all aware that Trump was aware of this. And that somehow makes Lutnick’s presence better?

But the US AG’s role has been to make a full-throated defense of the President regardless of the political colour of the administration for way longer than my memory.
I should point out here that, love her or hate her, Janet Reno, as AG, personally authorized investigations of her “boss,” Bill Clinton, for both Whitewater and the Lewinsky affair.
