The Trump Administration: The Clusterfuck Continues (Part 2)

I’d been wondering what Nena was up to these days.

My strong suspicion is that pressure was exerted on them by the White House.

Trump starts reading the other speaker’s lines on the teleprompter

You don’t want to know.

Stripped of their uniforms? Some of them are pretty young, I believe.
Republicans, I tell ya.

House votes against Trump’s tariffs on Canada.

This is only symbolic. The Senate needs to vote, and Trump can veto the bill. But it is symbolic. 6 Republicans join the Democrats to say, “what fentanyl emergency?” (That’s the official reason for punitive tariffs on Canada, all the fentanyl crossing the US Canadian border.) But it’s a sign he’s losing his grip on the party.

And this asshole from Florida had this to say:

Republican Rep. Brian Mast of Florida criticized the Democrats for putting forward a resolution that he says ignores the reality of the fentanyl crisis and Canada’s role in it.

“Apparently they don’t support tariffing a country that acknowledges they have a drug trafficking crisis, but they weren’t doing anything to fix it,” Mast said.

What a lying sack of shit. Just blatant bullshit spewing from his mouth-hole.

According the Smapti’s link

“This change is part of a broader, ongoing effort to align all of Gallup’s public work with its mission,”
and
“this is a strategic shift solely based on Gallup’s research goals and priorities.”

without giving any reasoning as to why doing presidential approval polls would interfere with any of that. So yeah I assume that the public mission that they are pursuing involves not being targeted for destruction by a spiteful federal government.

The administration’s version of It’s a bird; it’s a plane.

Beside the traveling public, guess who else was affected by this.

And Senator Duckworth sums up the situation aptly.

That’s rather polite compared to what El Paso’s congressional representative had to say.

Squirrel99.5!

You’re confused. Your boss is not protected from criticism like the worthless king of Thailand. Your boss is just worthless.

TACO100!

I think every one of the Democrats should boycott the dinner at the Orange Dump what’s left of the White House. And then make arrangements to have the business meeting elsewhere without the felon’s presence.

And why am I advocating that? (The bolding is mine.)

Wouldn’t it be hilarious if the next real president doesn’t invite Rip van Simple to the inauguration because he isn’t worthy to be there?

Roadkillface defends his idol’s racism.

In other words: it’s fake. And, not for nothing, but shouldn’t someone who thinks English is the one and only language for the country be somewhat conversant in the language’s grammar?

Have I mentioned that for today’s Republicans there is no silent part? (The bolding is mine.)

They’ve stopped even pretending to care about religious liberty.

“Elvis the Pelvis” fear is alive and well!

I thought he was supposed to be watching the far right substitute show.

Here’s someone who really should’ve been watching that show instead of the real one.

And, in keeping with the “there is no silent part” M.O.

Maybe she didn’t really watch it if she thought there weren’t any white people in the half-time show.

In related news, man gets busted trying to smuggle a lot of meth into the US from Canada.

Wait, apparently it was opposite: Man tries to smuggle a lot of meth into Canada from the US. Oopsie-daisey.

How does this mesh with:

Seems like you took a side, moron.

@wguy123 I assume you’re referring to the person I quoted.

Yes, and sorry…not sure how to more eloquently pull out parts that you quoted and not make it look like it is attributed to you.

Just add a set of [quote] [/unquote] tags just before and just after each part, ensuring you have the tag on a line all by its lonesome. Like this:

Got it! I removed your name and the other info and it seems to work.

Seeing that quote twice makes me wonder what color/complexion she thinks people in Spain are.

COAL, CLEAN COAL. Billions in waste, wonder how much the bribe was?

Not just the DoD buying coal - for what, coal burning stoves in the barracks? Phoney "National Security/Emergency orders to keep existing coal plants open even where plenty of clean power is available. Dovetails with rolling back environment regulations on clean air and water. Bring back the industrial revolution from the late 1800s. Make Americans Gasp Again.

I just saw that on one of the Korean newspapers’ English language site. The money comment was “Nobody said anything about coal” when describing the supposed deal.

Or, which is no surprise to any of us here, the felon lied.

Republicans are upset about the dancers in the Super Bowl halftime show because the girls were too old.

“Too old” being that they were women, not girls. In other words, fully adult.

I debated whether to go with “girls” or “women” and decided the joke worked better with “girls”.
