So how’s this blockade going to work???
Chinese-flagged 500,000 ton supertanker (CF5TS) fully loaded heading out of the Persian Gulf -
USN Frigate: “halt, none shall pass”
CF5TS: “nah, we got a schedule to keep”
USN Frigate: “halt, or we board your vessel”
CF5TS: “Umm, we’re Chinese”
USN Frigate: “don’t care, we’re sending a rubber boat full of swabbies to board you”
CF5TS: “not stopping, eat our wake”
USN rubber boat full of swabbies with a bullhorn: “hey, lower a line so we can board you”
CF5TS: “no”
USN rubber boat full of swabbies with a bullhorn: “stop screwing around, we’re moving closer”
CF5TS: “did we hit a log?”
USN rubber boat full of swabbies: bobbing in the Gulf after their boat gets caught in the negative pressure suction zone around the supertanker, “hey, stop and pick us up!”
CF5TS: “nope”
USN Frigate: “ok, you were warned, we’re maneuvering to block your path”
CF5TS: “you seriously gonna put a 5000 ton tin can in front of a 500000 ton supertanker? You’re dumber than a doorknob”
USN Frigate: “oh, right. Now you’ve done it and we’re opening fire”
CF5TS: “do you really want to risk a 100 million gallon oil spill and piss off not only China but everyone else too?”
USN Frigate: “repsect mah authoritah!”
CF5TS: “pound sand”
USN Frigate: “ok, you can pass this time.”
