The Trump Administration: The Clusterfuck Continues (Part 2)

Trump has been unashamedly clear that this whole Iran war is armed robbery writ large. But most people who commit armed robbery have a getaway car. Trump does not and seems to take offense at the idea that he might need one. Story of his life I guess. For all the grifting he is doing, he’s never going to be able to actually enjoy spending any of those ill-gotten gains (assuming he even lives that long).

I think the “plan” is:

  • Make them stop
  • Seize the oil
  • Sell the oil
  • Send the money to Qatar to Trump’s account.

That’s all. It’s just Trump using the US military as pirates to give himself more money.

Trump has lost the endorsement of (checks notes) the Knights Templar.

So far he’s been right, hasn’t he.

Well dayum! If that doesn’t finish him off, nothing else will.

I guess so.

Didn’t Trump say that if Iran charges a 2mil toll. That’s just fine. I’ll split it with them.

Then when Iran told him to go pound sand, he started all this blockade BS.

Insolence from the far-left radical lunatic Pope Leo cannot be tolerated.

Here’s the plan:

  1. Send Delta Force in to capture the criminal Pope
  2. Declare Donald J. Trump to be the most powerful Pope ever
  3. Demand unconditional surrender from the Vatican
  4. Bomb the Sistine Chapel and replace it with the Golden Trump Chapel/Ballroom/Casino

Amirite??

As an unhealthy hobby, I sometimes wonder what line he could cross that would cause Christians, even Republican ones, to renounce him entirely. He’s now done “I am Christ,” and we’ve seen that’s absolutely no problem except for some hyper-Catholic weirdos (no offense to any Knights Templar in our present company.)

Next: I am greater than Christ: show Christ bowing down to him perhaps? Then: I have defeated Christ: show him trampling the Lord, or defiling him otherwise, or perhaps defeating him militarily.

But this is a very silly hobby, I must admit. Of course there is no line.

He reminds me of a ten-year old kid who’s constantly threatening his peers because his football-player father (the US military) will beat them up.

It’s been done.

There just might be one. And it will be a Great Day when a billion tons of shit fall on him when he staggers across it.

That’s the most infuriating part of the global ascent of these idiots Milei, Trump, the absolute lack of consequences for saying or doing idiotic things that would’ve sank any politician with less-idiotic followers.
At this point one just want so see them suffer consequences just one big ton of shit falling of them as a consequence of their stupidity.

I wonder what the theological state of someone whose mind has deteriorated to the point that he is incapable of making moral choices is? Is it possible for someone so far sunk into dementia to genuinely repent, or is he now doomed to die in sin and go to hell?

It would be wrong of me to hope so, but I too am a miserable sinner.

He’s actually been getting a LOT of heat over this one, which is probably why he took it down and went with the “I thought I was a doctor” lie.

I’m happy to see this. I asked a certain Never-not-Trumper Evangelical Christian I know – actually just sent the image along without comment except “You need to be aware of this” – and got back a general disapproval of “he lets his ego run away from him” but no shock, and certainly no indication of wanting to distance himself politically. And heck, MAGA Evangelicals have tutt-tutted every step of the way, from “grab-em-by-the-p***y” on down to the present day of war crimes and murder of American civilians. It’s certainly easy to tutt-tutt anything; one gets a lot of practice.

Show me* Evangelicals saying “I regret my vote, will not vote for him when he runs for a third term, and will try to convince others to do the same” and then we can really celebrate. But more likely, sorry to say, this story will be over in a day or so, and we won’t see any numbers budge.

As I’ve said on here a time or two – this is actually the point of Trumpism; not to promote the man himself, but to debase and defile his supporters, to make them worse than they were before he came along. Dragging them down ever lower has been a stunning success. Your links excepted, we have millions of Christians not calling out the foulest blasphemy, just excusing it away, if they bother to notice at all, as mere excessive ego or bad judgment. But it won’t end here - he’ll have to up the ante to get his followers to sink lower. They’ve already taken their stand against ordinary decency in favor of Trump a thousand times over. I think they’ll be asked to take a further and more decisive step pretty soon.

*rhetorical only – not actually your job

It’s an interesting question in the abstract, but there’s very little evidence that Trump, in particular, was ever capable of making moral choices. From what we know of his life, he’s always been this way.

To the extent there are signs of deterioration, it appears mainly to be a decreased ability to gauge his audience and losing his filter.

If he’s really straight-facing “I thought I was a doctor”, then that is pathetic even by Trump standards. Not so much “religiously offensive” to me, as it is just fucking dumb.
That clown ain’t aging well.

That too is an interesting question. The fact that he used to have better filters on his impulses suggests that he did once have some greater awareness of right and wrong than he does currently.

You must keep in mind at all times that no matter how bad he is a Democratic President would be worse. That’s always the bottom line. Yeah he’s stupid and irreverent and blasphemous and full of himself and an embarrassment in front of the whole world. But a Democratic president will traffic your children in pizza parlors, change your child’s sex with an operation during the school day, take away all your guns, open the border so that all those Mexicans can take your job, let women have important government positions, and let gay men turn your boys into pansies. No matter what Trump does it can’t be as bad as all these things.
