The Guardian report of this story starts with “Gee Whiz” and the blurb following mentions that the elephant made a “gushing debut”.

It’s completely safe and normal. RFK Jr. will go bathing with his grandchildren and drink a gallon or so on Sunday.

Judge orders the liar to tear down his lying signage.
A federal judge has ordered the Trump administration to reinstate exhibits and displays at national museums, parks and landmarks that were altered under an executive order.
The ruling mandates the restoration of sites changed under a Trump directive that sought to remove elements deemed to “inappropriately disparage Americans past or living.”
US District Judge Angel Kelley in Massachusetts issued a preliminary injunction Friday that also halts any further modifications. The judge blasted the changes at national parks, saying they aimed “to rewrite the Nation’s history with a white-out pen.”
“History cannot be faithfully told while excluding the experiences of communities whose contributions, struggles, and achievements form an important part of our Nation’s story,” Judge Kelley wrote.
He also ordered the Trump administration to submit weekly status reports detailing its progress in complying with the order.
Pesonally, given the disregard the felon has for the courts, the law, and even the constitution, I’d’ve ordered the administration to appoint a few people to stand in the courtroom and give hourly updates.
Declare it a fraud, then look for evidence. Par for the course. (The bolding is mine.)
First Assistant U.S. Atty. Bill Essayli — President Trump’s loyalist federal prosecutor in Los Angeles — has not been shy in recent days about his intention to ferret out voter fraud in California’s primary election and criminally charge those responsible.
He has announced that his office “has multiple election fraud investigations underway” in coordination with the FBI, urged Californians on social media to submit evidence of “potential election fraud” directly to his office, and said flatly he “will be charging some people” with election fraud — just as soon as California certifies its vote count and his office “can prove some of the allegations.”
So that would be never. Got it. But, hey, it’s not like he’s violating any federal rules.
Essayli’s public callouts and promises are highly unusual and in direct conflict with Justice Department guidance on ballot fraud investigations at the federal level, which states federal prosecutors should not publicly pursue such claims amid vote counting.
The Justice Manual — which regulates the actions of federal prosecutors nationwide — says the department “should not engage in overt criminal investigative measures in matters involving alleged ballot fraud until the election in question has been concluded, its results certified, and all recounts and election contests concluded,” in part because doing so “runs the risk of chilling legitimate voting and campaign activities and of interjecting the investigation itself into ongoing campaigns and the adjudication of any ensuing election contest.”
Oops!
Who needs more than four hours of sleep? There’s a vanity project to build!
The challenge in picking Donald Trump’s favorite distraction is that the competition is brutally fierce . The president’s ballroom vanity project , the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool and the White House venue for the upcoming UFC fight are certainly near the top of the lengthy and growing list.
But don’t forget about his interest in a massive “triumphal” arch just across the Potomac River from the Lincoln Memorial, in front of Arlington National Cemetery. The Washington Post reported :
Federal officials are laying more groundwork to begin construction on President Donald Trump’s planned 250-foot-tall triumphal arch, sharing additional documents that detail the project’s scope and an aggressive timetable for potentially completing work before Trump’s term ends.
According to National Park Service documents posted this month, the administration envisions 20 hours per day of construction on the arch, year-round, in hopes of completing the project within two to three years. Construction experts said that timeline — which would involve two 10-hour daily shifts — is aggressive for a nonemergency project.
I hope he does complete it before he leaves. It’ll make such a lovely video being blown back down again.

@Robot_Arm You raise a good question. How many of the felon’s disastrous “projects” will be left incomplete, be scars on the landscape, when he is finally out of office? That’s one great legacy!
What’s the problem … it’s reflecting … in a nice, environmentally active global warming style green. Rather than a sterile, chlorine induced blue.
Or can be stopped by the Dumo’s getting at least the House? I assume trump Exec Ordered this bullshit, including Drone launching from his fucking Ballroom?
Fat-ass just LOST a war he shouldn’t have started. He should be eating shit right now, not talking about if/when/why/why not with Iran. We all know he’s taking Netanyahu’s word.

That would be Islam Green .
The fighters that will beat the shit out of each other tonight in an octogonal cage by the White House for the advancement of liberty™ and civilization® will be paid in the trump’s family "stable"coins:
World Liberty Financial’s role in the festivities emerged only this week. The company first announced it was an official sponsor of the event on Wednesday 10 June via Xitter.>
World Liberty Financial, a Delaware-based cryptocurrency venture co-founded by Donald Trump and his sons in 2024 alongside the Witkoff sons, has emerged as one of the highest-profile businesses connected to the president’s family.
White House spokesman Davis Ingle said there is no conflict of interest and that Trump’s assets are in a trust managed by his children. “The Fake News’ continued attempts to fabricate conflicts of interest are irresponsible and reinforce the public’s distrust in what they read.”
If all of MAGA buys them, each winning number would not be worth much. Maybe $10 each?
It would be nice if they had heavy rain all day.
