So is there any ongoing coverage for Mr. Potato Head’s Big Birthday Party? Not that I want to watch; I don’t. Just curious in case nobody’s showing it so that we can throw it in Diaper Don’s face later.
Is there anything going on for Flag Day?
Just as well, as I believe there’s no way of seeing it without paying Paramount + for the ‘privilege.’
No doubt the major news outlets will have reporters around the perimeter, so something will be visible. But probably not the Manly Sight of Manly Men Beating Each Other To A Pulp.
Flag Day itself is likely to be acknowledged via one or more of the Manly Men wearing US Flag Speedos.

Yep. As many have pointed out, Donald likes one-on-one combat because it fits with his conviction that life is a zero-sum game: there is always one winner and one loser in every interaction.
Also, lower-IQ people often find team sports to be confusing and hard to follow. One-on-one sports (boxing; wrestling; mixed martial arts, etc.) are easier for their minds to grasp.
And the Closeted Guy aspect is in force, too. Donald is on the record with lots of obsessing over men’s bodies.
I’m seeing the hashtag #ObamaAppreciationDay going around on Bluesky. Sounds like as good a way of trolling Trump’s pathetic little birthday party as anything else.

It would be hilarious if Trump’s dementia had progressed to the point where he forgot he was in the Epstein files and ordered them released in full because he was convinced there was a bunch of dirt on Democrats in there.

The White House and Washington Monument live cams have been turned off. It looks like someone doesn’t want people to see what’s happening in the area.
The whitehouse is blaming the weather channel for the bad weather.
Does that mean that people who paid to watch The Big Spectacle on TV aren’t seeing it?

No. There’s a live telecast streaming on Paramount I believe. These are two of the closest 24 hour live cams to the event. The one on the Washington Monument is offline and the one covering the White House is sporadically on and off.
