At the risk of sane-washing him, he probably meant that all the candidates he endorsed won. Which they did.

Senator Fetterman gives the toddler-in-chief a reality check.
Fetterman chided Trump for his continued insistence that extensive voter fraud swung the 2020 presidential election.
“I don’t know why the president is dragging up all of this stuff,” Fetterman said on CNN’s July 19 “State of the Union.” “You’re the president. Do something positive, and you are talking about 2020.”
Fetterman’s criticism comes after Trump flip-flopped on criticisms toward China, initially alleging that the country had interfered in the 2018 midterms and the 2020 presidential election , but later saying he believed China had changed.
Fetterman further called out the president’s fixation on 2020 election fraud during his appearance on “State of the Union.”
“That’s been settled over six years ago,” Fetterman said. “It’s deeply unhelpful, and that distracts important things, especially like the Iranian war right now.”
It’s been settled, but the convicted felon doesn’t like the truth. The truth shows he’s wrong.
More of the runs for you.
July 22 (Reuters) - The U.S. FDA has said it is investigating a new outbreak of cyclosporiasis, with 72 cases tied to an as-yet-unidentified source.
The agency’s announcement on Wednesday adds to the growing number of cyclosporiasis cases reported across the U.S. Midwest, including Michigan and four other states.
The Food and Drug Administration said it has initiated a traceback to identify the source of the latest outbreak.
Cyclosporiasis is an intestinal illness caused by the cyclospora parasite. People can become infected after eating or drinking contaminated food or water and symptoms can include diarrhea, stomach cramps, nausea and fatigue.
The CDC has identified 4,173 laboratory-confirmed, domestically acquired cyclosporiasis cases in the United States since May 1 and is investigating more than 7,400 additional reported infections that have yet to be laboratory confirmed, many of them in Michigan and Ohio. The figures come as Michigan has reported 7,171 cases so far this year, while Ohio has also recorded a sharp rise in infections.
That’s quite the legacy for you, isn’t it, Killer Kennedy?
The so-called president of peace wants to go to war in Mali now.
The Trump administration is weighing military action in the West African country of Mali to target an al-Qaeda-affiliated group known as JNIM, said current and former U.S. officials familiar with the deliberations.
If approved, it would add an eighth nation to the list of countries where President Donald Trump has ordered strikes since the start of his second term - a chapter of his presidency that he initially said would be dedicated to ending global strife and redirecting U.S. resources to Americans.
Eight. Why does that number ring a bell?
The First Amendment is dead.
In Trump’s speech last Thursday, the president alleged U.S. elections had been “rigged and stolen.” He claimed China had illegally accessed millions of voter files as part of a broader effort to manipulate U.S. elections in 2018 and 2020. During the Trump called out ABC and NBC for opting to not carry his remarks live — and said because of that, they should lose their broadcast TV licenses. It’s a threat he has made numerous times in the past in various contexts. “In a rare move, NBC and ABC fake news have both said that they would not cover this speech. They knew what it was about,” Trump said, as reported by Politico . “Fraud like this should mean a revocation of their licenses.”
At a press conference Wednesday, Carr said the FCC has an open proceeding an early ABC’s evaluate “whether they’ve been operating in the public interest,” and “I’m sure that there are going to be points raised in that proceeding” about Disney/ABC’s decision to not air Trump’s speech.
“I think that when you have the president of the United States standing inside the White House delivering an important speech, I think that’s something that broadcasters should be carrying,” Carr said. The FCC chairman added that “we’re going to hold all broadcasters” accountable to that same public-interest standard.
First off, that was not an important speech. Second, you’re weaponizing the government to punish speech your toddler boss doesn’t like.
Trump’s team to punish those who don’t–and I’m not kidding here–teach the value of marriage.
Donald Trump’s administration is steering millions of dollars to teen health programs that focus on abstinence-only sex education, fertility tracking and the importance of marriage — sweeping changes that advocates fear will reverse declining trends of teen birthrates.
The new rules for grant applications, which are due this week, have upended comprehensive reproductive health programs for vulnerable youth across the country. Existing grants were canceled this year, jeopardizing millions of dollars for programs that have been proven to reduce teen pregnancies and transmission of sexually transmitted diseases.
Instead, new criteria under Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s Department of Health and Human Services require grant recipients to teach abstinence as the only means to prevent pregnancies, with little mention of sexually transmitted disease prevention, let alone LGBTQ+ people.
But a focus on fertility and the importance of sex for procreation suggest the administration is placing a greater emphasis on telling young women and girls how to plan for pregnancy — not prevent it.
Callie Simon, executive director of Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States, called the Trump administration’s termination of the grants a “reckless” decision that is “already hurting young people and disrupting proven programs in communities nationwide.”
Personally, I think posting a picture of the felon-in-chief with the caption I want you to get pregnant will do more to increase the rate of abstinence than anything else.
The dumbass goes full on word salad speaking to families of fallen troops.
Donald Trump has gotten into an ugly word salad while trying to soothe the families of troops killed in his war.
Four more U.S. service members have died in renewed fighting in the Middle East, after the Washington-Tehran memorandum of understanding fell apart.
“All I’m going to say is we love you, we love your child, and that’s what they are to them, they’re their children,” Trump, 80, said in response to reporters as he boarded his new Qatari-gifted Air Force One.
“There’s no games, no nothing that’s their child and, er, all you can do is throw out your heart.”
And then there’s this comment in the article.
His mere presence makes such a transfer anything but dignified.
And now he has a war on the elderly. Quite ironic, huh?
The Trump Administration is moving to end a 60-year-old requirement for employers to submit demographic data on their workforces to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), which enforces civil rights laws against workplace discrimination.
Eliminating the requirement would make less information available to the public about demographic trends—such as how many women or people belonging to racial and ethnic minorities hold top positions at U.S. companies—and could impact efforts to protect workers against discriminatory practices.
The Republican-majority EEOC on Tuesday voted 2-1 to eliminate the requirement. A 30-day public comment period for the proposal will follow before it moves to final approval.
Since 1966, the agency has mandated that companies with at least 100 employees, or federal contractors with 50 or more employees, must file an EEO-1 form each year. In the form, companies must report the number of male and female workers in 10 broad job categories, as well as the number of workers of different races and ethnicities.
You’ll note the article shows what other issues arise from this. So, yeah; the corrupt felon is still finding ways to discriminate.

Saudi has a large and growing population that needs energy, for heating and cooling, desalination, transportation etc just like every other developed economy and their energy demand is growing year on year. Oil and gas can be used for producing electricity, but oil much better used as a transportation fuel.
As a transportation fuel for aviation and water-shipping in particular - otherwise, there are better uses for it that don’t involve burning.
To be clear, I’m a big fan of nuclear, solar, and wind power generation. I just love that the largest(?) producer of petroleum sees the economic case for them, while the current US administration doesn’t.

Trump Bought Over $1M in Dell Stock Before Pentagon Signed $9.7B Contract with Company
Martha Stewart sold off a couple hundred grand worth of stock after getting a tip that it was about to tank. Not a small sum to us ordinary folk, but linty pocket change to trump. For that she got 5 months in Federal prison, 5 months home arrest, and had to pay fines that more than made up for the stock selloff.
Now trump is openly, shamelessly insider trading and market manipulating for the whole world to see, and nobody in power seems to even much care, let alone lift a finger do anything about it. It’s like the Joker killed off Batman, paid off all the Gotham cops, and now just pulls up a truck to Gotham banks and says “you know the drill-- fill 'er up!”.
But he’s been doing that kind of thing for years. Bragging about “90% approval ratings!” from a survey that only included MAGA types. The opinions of other people are literally meaningless to him, he acts as if they simply don’t exist.

Of course they are. Why is anyone surprised by this? The whole “Great Replacement” CT is built on the notion that White people aren’t having enough babies, and that increasing white birth rates is key to preventing white people from being subjugated by brown people. Anything that gets more white women pregnant is a positive to them (barefoot and in the kitchen is optional, but encouraged, of course).
They’ll deal with the fallout of too many teenage mothers after they’re done Defending The White Race™.

It’s okay when trump does it.
TACO TIME! To absolutely no one’s surprise (other than the IQ47 cult), the performative
subpoenas were folded, spindled, mutilated and shredded. And his nominee for National Intelligence disqualifies himself based on lack of Intelligence.
I’m starting to believe that crimes only matter if there are consequences. Since Der Trumper probably will never face any….

Trump Administration Drops Subpoena Demanding List of Jews From Penn
The move was a rare pullback for the administration, which has used inquiries as leverage. Few schools resisted as Penn did after it was pressed for antisemitism complaints and a list of campus groups involved with Judaism.

More tariffs of course.
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump is going ahead with new double-digit tariffs on dozens of U.S. trading partners just as the clock runs out Friday on stopgap levies he imposed after a stinging defeat at the Supreme Court.
The United States will slap taxes of 10% to 12.5% on imports from 60 countries accounting for 99% of U.S. imports, charging that they have inadequately enforced bans on goods produced by forced labor.
"The United States has had a forced labor import ban for nearly a century, and rigorously enforces it; it’s well past time for our trading partners to do the same,” said U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer. “Today’s action will begin to correct what is both a human rights abuse and distortive trade practice to improve the welfare of workers everywhere.
The new tariffs will take effect just as temporary 10% worldwide tariffs expire at 12:01 a.m. Friday . Trump had turned to those temporary levies after the Supreme Court struck down his biggest and boldest tariffs in February .
Now he’s tapping more durable tariffs under Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974 , which permits the president to impose import taxes and other sanctions against countries found to engage in “unjustifiable,” “unreasonable” or “discriminatory” trade practices. Trump used Section 301 to impose big tariffs on China in his first term, and they survived court challenges.
America has a new anonymous hero! (The formatting is from the article.)
Donald Trump suited up, stood behind a podium, and blurted his signature ramblings for a crowd of many. But this time, somebody else managed to steal the spotlight away from him.
The American president took the stage and addressed rally attendees who had gathered at Wheeler High School in Marietta, Georgia , on Wednesday, July 22.
As he spoke to the crowd, a mystery man went viral for mimicking the president’s signature gestures in full view of the cameras.

As the president spoke, a suited rally attendee staged a performance of his own while sitting directly behind Trump.
Wearing a red tie and maintaining a straight face, the mystery man began mimicking Trump’s unmistakable mannerisms in real time.
He was seen making an exaggerated O-shape with his mouth, and he waved his hands around, almost flawlessly mirroring Trump’s gestures.
The big baby insults the military yet again.
Donald Trump has been called out for bizarrely comparing the number of U.S. troops killed in his war with Iran to those who died in conflicts as far back as the Korean War.
Three U.S. service members were killed in Iranian attacks on U.S. military bases in Jordan and Iraq over the weekend after Trump’s negotiations with Tehran failed, raising the death toll among U.S. troops in the four-month-old war to at least 17 . Another U.S. soldier is unaccounted for.
Two of those killed in Jordan have been identified as Pvt. Isabella Gonzales of Carrollton, Texas, who was 19 years old, and First Lt. Tyler James Feehan of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, who was 25. Sgt. Michael Emmanuel Swinton, 30, of Fayetteville, N.C., was killed in Iraq.
But Trump reduced the fallen soldiers to statistics on Tuesday, stacking the death toll from his war alongside those from past conflicts in an unhinged Truth Social post .
The 80-year-old president avoided calling his military action with Iran a war, instead calling it the “Iran Military Conflict,” echoing Russian President Vladimir Putin’s use of “special military operation” to describe his years-long war with Ukraine.
Trump did, however, refer to the U.S.'s overnight extraction of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro in January as a war.
The five-time draft dodger wrote: “Afghanistan War: 20 years, 2,000 DEAD. Iraq War: 9 years, 4,600 DEAD. Vietnam War: 19 years and 5 months, 58,220 DEAD. Korean War: 3 years and 1 month, 36,574 DEAD. Venezuela War: 1 day, 0 DEAD. Iran Military Conflict: 4 months, 18 DEAD.”
Trump drew swift condemnation for his tone-deaf post.
Exiled former MAGA congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene responded, “Trump is bragging about killing 18 US soldiers.”
Saudi Arabia just found out what a deal means to the convicted fraudster.
US President Donald Trump said Thursday that a nuclear deal with Saudi Arabia depends on the kingdom recognizing Israel, throwing the agreement into turmoil just the day after it was signed.
The apparently new condition comes despite Riyadh having long resisted joining the so-called Abraham Accords with Israel, insisting on a pathway to a Palestinian state.
It was not mentioned in the civilian nuclear deal announced on Wednesday, which had appeared to be a major win for the Saudis even as Trump wages war on Iran over its nuclear program.
But Trump stunned the Saudis with his post on his Truth Social network saying the deal “will be approved, but is totally subject to Saudi Arabia joining the very respected and successful Abraham Accords.”
I predict that suit gets withdrawn pronto and a claim of victory to follow.

Also, even by his own metrics that’s not such a great record. If the Afghanistan conflict killed 2000 US soldiers in 20 years or an average of 100 per year = 34 per quadrimester, and Trump’s Iran war’s first quadrimester has killed more than half that many, that’s not a trivial casualty rate.
Brian Tyler Cohen brought up Trump’s saying 18 dead Americans isn’t so bad , then played clips of Republican mouthpieces a few years back outraged at the “botched withdrawal from Afghanistan” and its 13 dead.
My favorite Jimi Hendrix track is “If 47 was 19”
