I give it until Wednesday for it to cone out that the “deal” involves a major US capitulation, Trump declaring it to be fake news, and then going back to threatening to destroy the entire country.
Perhaps it’s worthy of its own thread; perhaps not. But here goes:
Of all Trump’s vanity projects, which ones will actually happen? On a scale of “No Way in Hell”, to “It’s Inevitable, Might as Well Face It”:
You have them in perfect reverse order, but I’d say “the ballroom” with drone hangar and armor plating isn’t going to happen, but something along the range from stinking hole in the ground to half of what trump wants will be done, but not before 2028. And we’ll be lucky if it doesn’t crack and fall over by 2034.

But he will make enough of a half-assed start on each one to leave behind pile of smoking, ugly, incomplete wreckage/paperwork/legal tangles that the country will spend decades never being quite able to put right.
So Blanche reaches a “deal” with the Senate.
Gets confirmed.
Then rips up the deal and does whatever the hell he wants anyway.
Trump gets his money and no IRS audits for him and his family for life.
