Newsflash - Donald Trump spins more selfish, deranged, self aggrandizing lies to prop up his supernova size ego. Half the electorate believes him because they’re just as ignorant and deranged as he is.
Rambling, incoherent, delusional film at 11:00.
Yeah that’s an affront to all escaped cocaine monkeys
Okay, I could vote for an escaped cocaine monkey. Only an actual monkey though.
Escaped cocaine monkey/intelligent golden retriever 2028!
The winning ticket!
The makers of South Park have announced they’re changing the name of the show to “South America”.

Just when one was depressingly thinking that the whole place was irredeemably buggered there is this bright flash of light on the hill. Wonderful.

TORONTO (AP) — The United States is banning dairy products, most alcoholic beverages and motorcycles from Canada, the White House said Tuesday, as the trade war between the two neighbors and longtime allies escalates.
The ban will take effect in three weeks and comes after Canada imposed retaliatory tariffs on $20 billion in U.S. imports earlier Tuesday.
U.S. President Donald Trump also moved Tuesday to shut Canadian products out of large, long-term U.S. government contracts as Canada’s retaliatory tariffs took effect and Prime Minister Mark Carney vowed to speed efforts to reduce the country’s dependence on the United States.
Trump directed the U.S. General Services Administration to declare Canadian products ineligible for those contracts until Canada allows “full and fair reciprocity″ for American products.
Some folks are likely questioning their decision to be ambassador for the felon.
In a post on Truth Social, Donald Trump envisioned all of North and Central America under the U.S. flag, an image that quickly triggered a major diplomatic incident and fractured already-frayed relationships as the president pursues his imperial ambitions.
Iceland’s Prime Minister Kristrún Frostadóttir publicly condemned Trump’s map — which drapes the continent in red, white and blue — as an “insult” to the nation.
“We should just be clear when it comes to it,” she said Tuesday. “There is nothing funny or normal about making fun of the sovereignty of states, especially today when it is not a given.”
The image, which was posted without any further explanation or comment from the president or other administration officials, expands Trump’s increasingly trollish threats to annex sovereign neighbors and allies by throwing the U.S. flag over more than two dozen nations and territories.
Trump’s post — wrapping Central American nations and Caribbean islands in the U.S. flag, along with Canada, Mexico, Greenland and Iceland — has also drawn public rebukes from top officials in Denmark and Mexico, where President Claudia Sheinbaum said her country’s sovereignty “is non-negotiable.”
celand’s Foreign Minister Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir summoned U.S. Ambassador Billy Long to her office on Monday to “convey a clear message that the image was wholly inappropriate,” according to a statement.
“There was a reason to call the ambassador to a meeting and present a very clear message on our part that this was completely unacceptable,” she added Tuesday.
Boogie down, baby! And by baby, I mean numbers.
As November’s midterm elections loom, President Donald Trump’s approval rating continues to struggle, reaching a new record low in a new Focaldata/Financial Times poll released over Labor Day weekend.
The poll, released on Sunday, Sept. 6, found that only 32% of Americans approved of Trump’s job performance, a three-point drop from last month’s edition and the lowest the president has seen in Focaldata/Financial Times tracking since it began in May.
Trump’s slip in the most recent poll comes as his approval among Republicans also dropped by two percentage points to 72%, marking a new low, according to the Financial Times.
The Smithsonian Institution’s top official, Lonnie G. Bunch III, is retiring, ushering in a seismic transition at the nation’s museum and research organization just as President Donald Trump intensifies his campaign to influence its portrayal of American history.
Bunch, the 73-year-old historian who founded the National Museum of African American History and Culture and then became the Smithsonian’s first Black leader, publicly announced Tuesday that he is stepping down after more than seven years in the institution’s top job.
Bunch plans to depart by the end of the year, the Smithsonian said in a statement.
Bunch’s resignation comes at one of the most politically fraught moments in the Smithsonian’s 180-year history. Since March 2025, Trump has sought to purge what he calls “improper ideology” from its museums, while his administration has threatened the institution’s federal funding, tried to fire a museum director and challenged its authority over personnel and exhibitions.
But the president does not choose the Smithsonian secretary. That power belongs to its governing body, the Board of Regents, which is made up of high-level government officials, members of Congress and citizens appointed by Congress. As vice president, JD Vance sits on that 17-member board, which currently includes three vacant seats.
Y’all remember when the felon freaked out about someone at the IRS leaking his info? I’ve a doozie for you!
Sept 8 (Reuters) - A U.S. appeals court on Tuesday upheld an injunction blocking an Internal Revenue Service policy that allowed it to share thousands of taxpayers’ addresses with immigration authorities, saying the Trump administration’s practice violated federal law.
A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ruled that the IRS last year disclosed roughly 47,000 taxpayer addresses to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement under a procedure adopted as part of the administration’s efforts to expand immigration enforcement.
To absolutley nobody’s surprise, SNAP cuts hit the felon’s favorite targets hardest.
Black communities across the Deep South could significantly be affected as new cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) take effect, according to new research from the Southern Poverty Law Center.
The warning comes just over a year after the Trump administration signed the “One Big Beautiful Bill” (H.R. 1) into law. The SPLC released new research during Hunger Action Month examining the impact of nearly $190 billion in cuts to SNAP, including how the legislation has affected access to food assistance and how states across the Deep South are responding to the resulting funding gaps, according to a news release.
The research comes as millions of people across the region continue to rely on SNAP to help put food on the table, while longstanding disparities in food assistance policies have disproportionately affected Black and rural communities.
“Please, Supremes, let me violate everyone’s privacy so I can highjack elections, pretty please!”
President Donald Trump asked the Supreme Court on Tuesday to reinstate a controversial citizenship records system his administration has sought to wield for sweeping reviews of state voter rolls.
Voter roll audits using the Department of Homeland Security data program known as SAVE (Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements) have been on hold in most of the country since a lower court found that the administration violated privacy law in how it beefed up the program for voter purges.
Critics of the program argue that it produces inaccurate results wrongly identifying eligible voters as non-citizens and could lead to flawed purges that disenfranchise voters.
So you may have seen that last month Trump announced, given that we have high beef prices, that he was going to allow the tariff-free import of 300,000 tons of ground beef.
Rather oddly, he didn’t say from where and wouldn’t say from where for a while. And then eventually said, well, from Argentina, Brazil, and other places.
There has been a substantial uproar over these imports of ground beef because of concerns about safety. You know, if he won’t even say where it’s coming from or whether the countries involved are going to be practicing food safety, that is kind of an issue.
… but only for some people. We always have hordes of customers snapping up any sort of lower-priced meat.
I am NOT buying meat (including fish, chicken, etc.) unless it’s clearly labeled as to country of origin. Which is why I’ve been buying the sale ground venison at work instead of the sale ground beef. It costs a bit more, but the venison is clearly labeled as “New Zealand” (so I suppose a tariff is included) but the ground beef???
Except for things like the “grass fed and finished” ground beef that is clearly labeled born, raised, slaughtered, and processed in the US. Of course, that’s $10/pound. OMG!
But when I have beef for a meal it’s normally a 4 ounce, that is, 1/4 pound portion which works out to $2.50 for a burger, which, BTW, is cheaper than McDonald’s and their mystery meat at present. Yeah, I’ll pay the higher price because I want to know more about what I’m eating than the average person in my neck of the woods. Also, I eat more than just beef. I’ve been eating about half my dinners with beans as the main protein for nearly a year now in pursuit of better health and, oh yeah, I like beans. Weird, I know. I am weird.
Ditto for fish. I will NOT eat fish from China. Of course, fish is also a minefield of health and morality. Maybe I’ll just stop here.
“he was posting on Truth Social like an escaped monkey from a cocaine study.”
OMG. So true. So funny. So frightening. So apt.
“The war is gonna end immediately after the election”, declares a balder than usual Trump who seems to be struggling to not fall over.
Trump: "I think the war is gonna end immediately after the election. Because they can't hold out any longer. They're desperate to try to affect the election."
Q: Do you expect negotiations with Iran to restart? TRUMP: Ahhhhhh. We're not looking for it. This war with end immediately after our election.
I’m sure we’ll start hearing about his secret plan to end the war.
“The war is gonna end immediately after the election”, declares a balder than usual Trump who seems to be struggling to not fall over.
Trump’s been pretty good about predicting Iran’s ability to remain in the war, and he’s pretty reliable in general, so I’m sure he’s right.
“The war is gonna end immediately after the election”, declares a balder than usual Trump who seems to be struggling to not fall over.
The baldness-display is alarming: if he no longer cares, that marks a notable downward direction for his mental functioning.
The “war is gonna end immediately after the election” is much more alarming. Donald knows that if he sends troops into Iran today he’ll have hundreds of Republican office-holders screaming at him. He doesn’t like that. Even though he holds all the power, he doesn’t like getting screamed at.
But after the election, they won’t scream. So he can send in the troops to die in their hundreds (at least) and “take Tehran.”
If no one stops him, he will do this.
He’s not going to send in troops in those numbers. There’s still a functional part of his brain that tells him “pictures of soldiers in coffins BAD”, even if he personally doesn’t care about any of them.
But he can’t say he’s stuck in a quagmire, so he’s stuck saying it’ll get fixed In two weeks after the election
But he can’t say he’s stuck in a quagmire, so he’s stuck saying it’ll get fixed
In two weeksafter the election
I hope you’re right, and that’s all it is.
But his ego is on the line. He will badly want to blow up Tehran and then have US troops dragging the new Iranian leaders through the rubble. He will want those images.
Maybe some clever person can fake him out with AI images, the way his father’s employees faked dementia-riddled Fred out with a sham office and sham “reports.”
..and he’s pretty reliable in general…
This caught me off guard and I just shit my pant! ![]()
C-SPAN is live streaming the GOP midterm convention. When I clicked on it I saw someone proclaming “We ARE NOT going back to Biden inflation”. I bet he’s right.
