The Trump Administration: The Clusterfuck Continues (Part 2)

Trump just endorsed Netanyahu in he upcoming Israeli elections. Motherfucker.

A plague on both their houses.

They have different vowels, though, so they’re not homonyms. But maybe she has an accent.

Is an endorsement from Trump worth anything in Israel? The article didn’t really get into how Israelis feel about Trump (except a brief mention about how 45% of people surveyed don’t trust him at all). But there have been Republican candidates in the US who have scrubbed Trump’s name from their websites because they don’t want to be associated with him.

I don’t know. A year ago, he was very popular. Now, though, a lot of Israelis seem to have caught on that he’s full of shit - that he’s erratic and can’t be trusted. Still, as a rule, Israelis tend to support people who claim to support us; OTOH, we also really don’t like it when people tell us what to do. So it could help, or it could hurt. I hope it’s the latter, but I really don’t have a clue.

I’m longing for the time—perhaps in a mere two-and-a-half years—when a Democratic President is chalking up gains on the economy and on the US position in the world.

(And in addition: when Democrats are doing hearings in the Senate and House they dominate, as a first stage in justice coming for Trump Regime lawbreakers; and when the Supreme Court has been right-sized (with sane new Justices).)

At that time, perhaps, Donald’s words will be played over and over again.

Plus, people are scared. What if we elect someone Trump doesn’t like and he turns on us?

When someone is unpredictable and has no inhibitions or moral boundaries - when they could do anything to anyone for any reason - Israelis say that they “have no God.” Well, Trump has no God.

The endorsement is not for anyone in Israel. It’s for domestic consumption in the United States.

Court tells him he can’t do it, so he does it anyway.

The judge was not impressed.

Down, down, doobie down, down, down. The felon’s numbers are tanking.

President Obama nailed it. The felon is appalling.

The post using the word appalling is embedded in that article.

As usual, it’s always OPM* with the felon.

*Other People’s Mistakes.

We are at North Korea level official adulation.

Here’s the money quote.

My bold.

Why do these judges keep giving this fucker deadlines that he ignores?? Deadlines are a joke to him, as are courts and judges.

Say, “I want an answer in my courtroom RIGHT NOW! Be here in an hour or bailiffs/officers/(whoever the court’s enforcers are) will be at the White House in 65 minutes to pick you up and bring you here!”

It blows my mind that 33% still approve!

(I found out on Friday that one of my oldest, dearest friends is a trumpist. I suspected, and I finally asked her.)

The court’s enforcers are controlled by Trump. Can you see the problem?

Here’s the tweet. I’m surprised he didn’t mention national security. I guess they haven’t figured out how to have drone ports and sniper areas integrated yet. Maybe store munitions in the club house.

Highest Level of Golf!!

Has anyone figured out how the felon’s vanity arch/giant toy tranformer platform will memorialize the now past 250th anniversary of the nation’s independence?

I WANT THIS WAR END! Trump’s bullshit “excuses” for favoring Putin and fucking over Zelenskyy.

“…his oceans and seas are gone.” Does he know where Ukraine is?

At this point I’d be surprised if he knows where Mar-a-Lago is.

I thought Trump said he could end the war in 24 hours. I wonder why he doesn’t do that?

He didn’t say which 24 hours, nor that they would be all in a row, now, did he?

The felon-in-the-oval has an interesting excuse for waiving sanctions on Russia.

Of course the felon-in-the-oval needs Putin at the table. The master of the house is always at the head of the table.

Even pubbies are getting tired of the convicted felon.

It’s not an act. He is, in fact, scatterbrained. That is not news. And I have sympothy for the pubbies, even those in office, now whining about it. They are the ones who created the problem of him.

This is the real, permanent damage Trump and his enablers have done to the world in general and this country in particular. If he had been thoroughly repudiated in 2020 and on during Biden’s term, and – worst case – a Republican been elected but was “wrong within normal parameters” in 2024 we could claim that was an aberration that wouldn’t be repeated any time soon.

But that didn’t happen. Instead enough voters liked him and his policies to put him in again and despite four years’ experience with him before plus another twenty months into the second time around one in three American voters still think he’s doing a bang-up job.

The US and its electorate are the problem. Trump is the carbuncle on top.

My condolences. I have several Trumpist family members, and even if we never mention his name again, it’s really damaged our relationship.

My spirits are always buoyed when there’s a question that I feel I can answer:

TL;DR “it depends on what the meaning of the word ‘time’ is.”

I hope you meant to say I have NO sympathy for the pubbies. That’s what you meant, right? Please?
