I know it won’t make a bit of difference, but as someone in a thoroughly blue state, contacting my own (Democratic) Senators and Rep doesn’t seem like it will accomplish much.
And I know that Republican Senators and Reps in other states don’t really care what an out-of-stater has to say, but I’ve taken to emailing them occasionally in the hopes that someone will see the message and it might resonate with that person, even if it’s some lackey

Good work, Senator. Please, keep doing nothing as the current President continues to consolidate more and more power, and putting utter incompetence into every aspect of government. I know you’re afraid of losing a primary, so certainly complete abdication of responsibility is a logical choice. After all, at this rate, you’ll be the last Senator from Louisiana. You’ve given up oversight of appointments (RFK Jr. is one of your finer moments, Dr. Kennedy). You’ve ceded your constitutional role on tariffs. I see the power to declare war is currently on the chopping block. Well done. Immigration enforcement is a perfectly reasonable thing, but the real coup de grace is your sitting idly by while American Citizens’ 4A rights are trampled.
You know this won’t end well. Assuming we still have free speech, we’ll hold people like to accountable. Well, no, we won’t be able to actually hold you accountable at that point. But we’ll blame you.
