Apparently, that’s not true:

Trump: "It's actually a legal definition -- 'whole milk.' And it's whole with a W for those of you that have a problem."
Apparently, that’s not true:
I, for one, am proud that the Department of Homeland Security’s extralegal threat to commit reprisal murder is not based on a Nazi slogan.
We’re wining our fight to out Nazi the original Fascists! USA! USA! USA!
/end, bitter, sarcasm
@Cervaise also addressed the unclear origin of the slogan yesterday in a thoughtful post in the ‘compendium of horrors’ thread.
Where did they pull that slogan from then, I wonder, and what exactly is it supposed to convey? I think @Horatius has it right (this post snippet also from the ‘compendium of horrors’ thread):
And while we’re debating the potential “historicity” of this particular slogan, “One of ours…” let’s not forget: A whole lot of these neo-Nazis aren’t actual historians either, and they probably all accepted the SS origin of the phrase. Even if we’re all wrong about the actual source, I’d bet good money they chose this wording because they themselves believed it was Nazi.
Either made up by somebody and it went viral in the traditional manner. Or an AI hallucination that went viral. Take your pick.
While not a direct quote, the sentiment is certainly in line with Nazi policies of outrageously disproportionate, even cruel retaliation for perceived transgressions. It’s close enough to actual policy that somebody could have said it reminded them of this massacre and it morphed from there, spreading along with the outrage. Or somebody fed it into ChatGPT or something and it came back with something that seemed close enough to what they wanted. Either explanation fits.
It’s pretty clear Noem and the modern brownshirts have no problems borrowing or outright stealing Nazi talking points, even if this particular case was not a direct copy. But I have to believe it is still worth holding onto the notion that objective facts and truth still have value.
Trump Is Gilty!

Isn’t that an act of piracy?
Technically, under the Geneva Conventions, it is perfidy, specifically Article 37, clause 1(c). It’s an interesting question as to how this relates to an operation against a noncombatant, but I don’t think our military should engage in acts where there is that amount of gray area involved.
Trump is suspending processing of visas for 75 countries, and lying about the reason.
U.S. to stop issuing immigrant visas for 75 countries
If the released data is just names (not addresses etc), I don’t see how it counts as “doxxed”, given that (outside special cases like covert counter/intelligence agents) there’s no legitimate reason the taxpayers shouldn’t know the names of their employees.
Nobody knew the W was silent

The notion of overwhelming retribution is familiar, even if it’s not tied to a specific event.
Ho Chi Minh was supposed to have said:
You will kill 10 of our men, and we will kill 1 of yours, and in the end it will be you who tire of it.
I’m not sure when he said it, or even IF he said it, but it seems to be related, although it’s howing the reverse of the common interpretation – Kill all of ours in exchange for one of yours, and you’ll still lose.
Trump: "It's actually a legal definition -- 'whole milk.' And it's whole with a W for those of you that have a problem."
There is absolutely no reason not to conclude that before today Donald J Trump thought it was pronounced wuh-hole.
“I’ve taken a lot of cognitive tests”
Trump: "So milk could help your cognitive ability. Take a cognitive test? I've taken a lot of them. I've aced every one of them because I drink milk."
“We have some milk, it’s been sitting here for 5 days”
Trump: "We have some milk here. It's been sitting here for 5 days. I brought it so the press can have some. You can swig it all."
“I open a refrigerator, I see milk with rice and milk with water and milk with everything”
Trump: "I open a refrigerator. I see milk with rice and milk with water and milk with everything and I say, what kind of milk is it? That's what I like right there."
The notion of overwhelming retribution is familiar, even if it’s not tied to a specific event.
It’s the Chicago Way.
Actually, I think it’s worse than that. This whole time he thought it was, “Hole Milk.” If he thought so, then everybody must have thought so, so he’s clearing it up for all of us rubes.
The notion of overwhelming retribution is familiar, even if it’s not tied to a specific event.
I’m not arguing the specific phrase, but the Natzees did execute an entire town in France as retribution.

I had a look, and really, those ICE people were pathetic. I mean, sure they wear the swag and carry weapons, but they are absolutely shit at situational awareness.
A party of 5yr old Boy Scouts could have taken them on… and won. I guess there is an element of unreasonable arrogance built into fascism.
These are bullying thugs who attack people they think can’t or won’t fight back. They aren’t prepared to defend themselves because they are all about attacking nice people, not dangerous ones. They’ll happily murder an unarmed woman, but would run screaming from actual criminals.

Senior US military figures are resisting Donald Trump's directive to prepare an invasion plan for Greenland, citing illegality and lack of Congressional support.
“Citing illegality”?
Is that a sign… of a spine???
That sounds like it could catch on!
