Lemme see if I’ve got this straight: you’re glad you mentioned Susanann’s deficit post because it drew me out (which I assume means I’m posting), and yet at the same time you’re pissed off that I’m posting?
Call me crazy (again ;)) but this wouldn’t appear to make sense.
Now, now, Guinny, I guess I have to point out to you that the only reason I said what I did about the deficit and government spending was to show that ladyfoxfyre (curious name for a woman who acts like she does…but again I digress) was wrong in assailing Susanann for making the apparently outrageous suggestion that one way to control government spending might be to…uh…reduce it.
I don’t know what it is. I just feel compelled not to let bullshit stand around here. I think it must have something to do with the board’s motto.
And as I said to ladywhatshername in the post above, it’s a public message board. I’m all paid up and I have every right to answer a post or idea that I feel is in error, or to answer posts that are directed to me. I know some of you would prefer a nice circle-jerk where you can all sit around and commiserate with each other over how stupid some conservative poster or idea is - and by implication how smart and wonderful you are - but the reality is that just ain’t gonna happen. If you want to lie, distort or insult things I believe, then I’m afraid you’re just going to have to put up with me making sure people don’t accept it at face value.
Well, since it’s you, and you asked nicely and all, I’ll back out for now.
