Well, when you’re following the police horsebox into your workplace, you should probably expect an interesting day… I didn’t have one though 
I was in the bar I thought I’d be, and it was pretty much the same guys as normal, only maybe slightly more or them. Everywhere else was crazy busy, though there hadn’t been any real trouble by the time I left (the sheer quantity of police everywhere -including armed police, incredibly unusual for here,- may have had something to do with that).
They’re so organised for high risk matches- there were police at all the local bars as well, and I think they even made all the away fans arrive by coach so they could make sure none stay behind to start fights with the locals.
It is really weird when you consider that they play rugby at the same stadium- and there all the fans for both teams freely mix, and get happily drunk together, with no police, and no trouble.
I think that might be it for work until after Christmas, unless I get a last minute call today or tomorrow, and it’s a bit late for most work parties now. I think I’ve decided to sign up for an office temp agency in January, 'cos I reckon it’ll be really quiet, and I really don’t want to get stuck doing just this job for too long.
Nuts Police Horsebox??? Is that a trailer for Police horses? I believe that this is yet another example of two Nations divided by the same language.

I’s tahrd! Raked a buncha leaves and mulched a buncha leaves. At least the front yahd has gone from bein’ the trashiest yahd in the 'hood to perhaps the third or fourth trashiest yahd in the 'hood.

Umm… maybe? It looked like this, and we wouldn’t call it a trailer here, though we call all horsey transporters horseboxes.
I guess I would call that a Horse van. On this side of the pond Police Horses are often transported in something like this.

In fact this is the most common Horse transport I have seen over here.

the dishwasher is broken, not a big deal for me because I hand wash my dishes anyway to appease the bitch
but what is a pain is that until the dishwasher gets fixed there is no hot water in the kitchen
