Yesterday no jobs were available. Today when I already have plans for the day a job is there and it’s even a Special Ed job. Oh well, my plans sound more fun. 
Although I’m a bit irked to be awake already. I don’t have to be up for at least a couple more hours.

I got the Official Christmas Invite text from Older Sister last night and I’ve been tapped to shuttle Der Pa up to Moravianville on the day itself. Now I have to decide if I want to do this all in one day or if I want to go to Der Pa’s place the night before so I don’t have to do six hours of driving in a day. Considering I don’t know the state of the guest room*, I’m thinking I’m going to be in my car a looooooong time next Wednesday.
It’s a good thing I’m having all the car repairs done on Monday. Also, this way I get to deliver the African violet in person and place it back on the sun porch where it belongs.
*My old bedroom which was full of boxes the last time I checked.

Gingerbread. Making them for a friend. I think they turned out pretty well, although, as usual, I had to keep sampling the dough just to make sure.
Good morning! I’m waiting to be done with all the things that need to be complete before vacation. Might need to get some work done on the weekend to avoid going in on Monday. But then I have two whole glorious weeks off.
