Home. We stopped at Salsa’s after the gym - I forgot that **FCD **has a HOG meeting tonight, but no biggie - he’ll probably be ready for a hunk of pizza by the time he gets to the meeting. I’ll just knit the night away.
I spent much of today begging people for work. I got 2 drafting requests for a total of 5 parts that need to be drawn, but they didn’t come till the end of the day. I figure it’ll take no more than 3 hours to do them all, but I could be wrong - we shall see.
One more work day, then 9 days off. I’m so ready, even if it does involve a gawd-awful amount of driving…

Howdy Y’all! Dindin has been et. We did bbq sammiches and fries from the hole in the wall bbq takeout place that’s soooooo good. Also I made another batch of cheese thangs. These are the ones I will take to the irkplace tomorrow, but I already mentioned that didn’t I.
flytrap and Jim do you take all kinds of medical insurance? Does a case of beer count as payment? What if’n it’s really good beer? How about homemade cookies? Would y’all take those as payment? Do you provide follow-up care? I know that’s a lot of questions but if’n y’all are gonna get into the medical field, you have to think about this kinda stuff.

Today at work we had a special lunch and there was so much alcohol there! I drank two glasses… of Coke.
After work, I went out with a few people from work. We went to a bar. I drank a big pint… of orange juice!
Today I survived not one, but two, challenges to my sobriety. Yay.

So I was thinking about the upcoming BG surgery
Step one. Get likkered up, surgeons and patient
Step two. Open Bobbio up from Navel to Sternum and underneath ribcage 8in/20cm in both directions. Take skin flaps and pin back with thumbtacks.
Step three. Root around until GB is found, we know it is green so it should’t be too hard. Do we need a flashlight?
Step four. Use Dremel to disconnect GB, precision tolls are required there are Arteries and other important stuff near. Sew up pipe thingy the GB was attached to so Bobbio does not leak inside.
Step Five. Pour some Iodine in the hole and sew him up.
Step Six. Wash hands and go to the bar for celebratory drinks using the contents of the patients wallet.
Flytrap any thoughts or does that sound about right? How much are we charging?

Someone I work with added me on Facebook today (after asking me first.) Nice I’d better not say anything bad on Facebook about work now!:eek: Although I don’t usually do that. If I have a complaint about work, I’ll usually take it to the Workplace griping thread - though honestly, I like my job, so I rarely complain about it.

I need a nap. Got up early to see surgeon for two week post-op follow up. Everything is great. Then went to Whole Paycheck since it was near the doctor’s office and lugged a heavy sack home on the CTA. Then headed back out to meet my farmer, picked up a leg of lamb for Christmas eve dinner, plus Bacon ends, buffalo burgers, Smoked sausage, and chicken thighs. Lugged another heavy sack home on the CTA.
My pedometer says I did my 10,000 steps, which was done carrying 20 pounds on my right shoulder most of the way. I’m pooped!
