What about how Glenn introduced Tara to Maggie as “someone I met on the road” cant wait for Michonne to meet Tara and know she was with Brian/Gov. and the meet up of the guy under the bed and Darryls group…ha ha ha
We had Tyrese reconcile with Carol last week, and I can maybe see Maggie forgive Tara (or is it Sarah?), but Biker Gang Leader (or whoever he is) ain’t gonna get all touchy-feely with Rick!
Michonne saw Tara? all i remember from the battle was that Tara was hiding the whole time.
I enjoyed the time spent on how Joe (Daryl’s group’s leader)'s outfit operated, the contrast between the other survivor “tribes” we’ve seen was interesting, as an alternative model for a “tribe” of survivors: no real hierarchy, just mutually agreed-upon and mutually-enforced maxims. They are both willing to kill a man for falsely accusing another of theft, and committed to avenging a member’s death at the hands of an outsider, even if it means spending days tracking down the killer on foot.
Huh, I didn’t recognize Denise Crosby at all.
I am assuming that she would have seen Tara while being held hostage by the Gov in the Rv with Herschel, the trip to the prison, and setting up for battle. Big assumption I know but as it was something avoided by Glen, I think there is a reason.
“We don’t have enough ammo” annoyed me. You’ve got lots and lots of rocks, a big huge pile in fact. Start throwing rocks at the zombies, there’s only about 15-20 of them. You could wipe them out in five minutes, tops.
Well, plus not finishing all the zombies trapped in the rock pile first. That’s just dumb - silencing them means you can listen for other more ambulatory threats, and climbing over the rock pile with them still “alive” just invites falling onto some still-active zombie-jaws.
I thought the same thing. “Just start throwing rocks at their heads from the top of the pile.” I guess they used all their cleverness with the zombie shadow puppet. The hail of bullets from the rescuers seems weird too.–Maggie’s group had next to nothing left so that means Abraham’s crew just happened to be carrying enough firepower for everyone?
I had a dream last night about Terminus. I guess I’ll spoiler box my dream just in case… Terminus is a cult that believes that zombification is the next phase of human experience and that zombies are mindless monsters because of the trauma of death. If you can slowly transition to being a zombie you will retain more of your “self.” So believers in Terminus drink zombie blood and purposefully injure themselves to make it a gradual transition. The reason we didn’t see anyone at first is that a large part of the population forages and scavenge in very large groups together while the rest of the population stays in side and cares for those in “transition.” In the dream they start with children. The cult has people who claim to be fully transitioned and no longer feel pain but they are like quislings from WWZ.
Also… who wants to bet that calling “claim” plays a BIG part when Darryls group finds Beth?
I’m speculating that we don’t get to see any more of Terminus until next season. We’ve got three factions (Carol, Rick and Darryl), not to mention the mystery of Beth’s disappearance to deal with. (Hmmm, did the Terminus group kidnap Beth?) I’ll bet the final episode deals with the adventures of the 3 groups as they converge on Terminus. Probably with multiple cliff hangers.
I disagree. You have to puncture the skull and penetrate the BRAAAAAAAINS to kill the zombies. Not easy at all with rocks. In fact, damn near impossible.
We’ve seen a good, hard foot-stomp do the job.
You can apply a lot more force with your foot than you can by throwing a rock. You’d have to drop a pretty large boulder on someone’s head to equal the force of a good, hard, foot stomp. Not the kind of rock that can be thrown.
I’m confident the rocks would do. Heck, stand on one side of the pile and toss 10-pounders over. The zombies are so clustered that each rock is bound to hit a skull or a limb, gradually rendering the crowd harmless or at least casually manageable.
Trying to sneak past, with someone who is already limping… stupid.
Terminus reminds me of the whole Charleston (SC) storyline in Fallen Skies. Didn’t work out so well for those survivors, either.
Are the producers getting all this abandoned industrial property to use as sets because it’s so cheap?
Yeah, not braining them with rocks was the stupidest part. Especially since it has been demonstrated that zombie skulls have the consistency of warm jello. I’m pretty sure if you shouted loudly enough at them from above the concussion of the sound waves would kill a few.
…I’ve got to admit: I’m loving the characters of Abraham, Rosita and Eugene, and how the writers are contrasting these three characters who haven’t lost their humanity with Joe’s group who obviously have. I wasn’t expecting Eugene to have the balls to take them back to rescue Glenn and Tara: but as a gamer I bet you he would role-play a Lawful Good Paladin: and rescuing people is just what Lawful Good people do. I don’t actually believe that Eugene actually knows anything important: so it will be interesting to see how that plays out.
Rosita, or as my son and I call her, Hot Pants Garcia…
If it’s Glenn or Maggie episode, I could care less.
Daryl is definitely not going with the “guys like us” stuff the rough biker dude is laying on him. Beth just started making him believe that he is a good person; he’s not going to give that up so easily.
Maybe Terminus is like The Road; they’re luring people in there to (spoiler for The Road)
eat them.
