I noticed that too, or at least I noticed that Carol was spotless. The identical mud that seems to show up everywhere it conveniently needs to be was 100% gone from her face as well as all the zombie blood.
Agreed, pure Easter egg. Nothing to do with the plot.
Personally I’ve always wanted to see a zombie apocalypse done from the perspective from “the authorities” rather than the man on the ground, but I can see how that would be very hard to pull off. I’ll settle for going back to the start of the outbreak though. Though if they’re going back to the beginning what’s the point of filming in Detroit, most the of city already looks like the apocalypse hit.
Yes, the only way the parallel could’ve been more blatant would be if the Termites made the cattle strip first.
I think the pile of stuffed animals bricked that door up tight. Whatever happened to them at the hands of the marauders every last Termite deservers eradication. Nothing could possibly justify that kind of evil. They are utterly beyond redemption.
Who would ‘the authorities’ be? I’m not sure I understand that.
As for Detroit, if it’s not just a random city, I could see it being used because it’s got the Big Three car companies there which would give them three huge compounds to work with.
I mean, any blue collar town will have huge factories, hell, any white collar town will have office buildings, so I don’t know what’s special about Detroit. Maybe an unlimited supply of cars?
Continuity error at the end… Tyreese comes out of the cabin and closes the door. In all the reunion shots, the door is wide open. End of the scene, no one has gone near the cabin, door is closed tight.
Yes, Rick should have persisted, gone back and killed them all.
I think he shot the head bad guy; he fell over, or was blown over in the unrealistic TV way people are shot. He is too good a villain for the writers not to use him again.
Popping the tank and then igniting the gas? That’s some real Wile E. Coyote shit right there.
I didn’t recognize the blond guy at the end of the trough, and thus figured (correctly) that he was going to be the anonymous redshirt that was going to be sacrificed to show how much trouble the established characters were in. Then I didn’t recognize the next guy, or the two guys after that, so it’s redshirts almost all the way down.
