I didn’t see a thread, so I figured I’d start one just to alert folks that Season 8 starts tonight. Let’s hope the new season is a good one!
My friend is in it, though I know nothing about it. I think he is going to be one of Negan’s gang. I tried to spot him last year in the final episode, but in a funny coincidence, he doesn’t get AMC and hasn’t seen the episodes to spot himself.
Anyway, he filmed a ton this year and is in quite a few, I believe.
He was also in Stranger Things last year. Neat.
The only review I’ve seen so far is that this season is ho-hum at best, with the same old tired predicaments and stupid behavior and gasbag Negan trying to be all evil up in that shit, but not really succeeding. I think I’m done.
Oh no…give it a chance, I am happy, happy about the new season! I predict an amazing time for all! Fixin’ to pop the corn!
Season 8 premiers tonight; it looks like they’re picking up right where the last episode left off. Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus, Robert Kirkman, Scott M. Gimple, Greg Nicotero, Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert, and some surprise cast members are on Talking Dead.
Well, how was it?
Yay!
I looked for him but I didn’t see him. Episode was about what you would expect, Rick’s plan was better than I thought it would be and Negan’s defenses way worse.
So our heroes are about 75 yards away from Negan with rifles, of all things, and instead of putting one between his eyes, they waste thousands of rounds of ammo by shooting out all of the factory windows because of ???
I’ll watch it tomorrow and have a look.
And, oh, it appears he is in *this coming *season of Stranger Things(episode 7), not last year’s.
I’m curious if their plan was presented clearly. It mirrored what happened in the comics so I understood what was happening but I wonder if someone who never read the comics could follow what Rick and his group did.
Oddly Talking Dead is a double length episode despite the season premiere being a regular length episode.
I don’t understand why Rick’s people thought it was more important to shoot out windows than Negan and his lieutenants. That bit of ridiculousness pushed me deep into “Liked it” territory, and almost into the “Meh” zone.
Rick is getting into Negan’s head, obviously.
I think it was great!!. Rick has a plan, no worries, wait and see!
Not really. I have no idea why they wasted so many bullets shooting out windows instead of someone simply shooting Negan in the head. He was standing out there unprotected on the balcony for quite a while…
Too many timelines happening simultaneously. I hope the flash forward of Rick & family all happy and sunshiney isn’t simply what it shows because knowing people survive before the battle even happens makes it all rather meh.
You saw him closing his eyes and looking at the sun, It was a daydream, clearly!
What? No, those are two separate timelines.
Still watching. I really hope they don’t go A-Team on me and have the sheet metal panels mounted on cars be bulletproof.
Stop talking and start shooting!
Not the windows you idiot. Neegan!
