Alanna Masterson, Tom Payne, Scott M. Gimple, & Chris Sullivan are on Talking Dead.
Here it is!
Didn’t they “enact a plan” last week?
The plan is moving along…hows Rick gonna get out of this?hmmmm
I’m sick of this show trying so hard to be “artistic.” Couldn’t we have had less slow motion close up montages of every main character and more, I don’t know, story?
Are we supposed to know who Morales is?
I knew who he was.
And that would be…?
That was pretty bad. But not as bad as Rick and Darrel deciding to split up. What could go wrong with that?
How many times are they going to use the trope of someone letting an enemy live, and then the enemy turns on them?
He was in the first season, he left the group, him his wfe and child, after Rick found the group.
Same here! Usually the “artsy” stuff in this show leaves a lot to be desired. Just falls flat, as far as I’m concerned.
And I didn’t remember Morales, either.
If ever there was a time when a quick flashback would have been helpful, that was it.
I remembered Morales because I thought him and his family were the most likely to “crossover” to fear the walking dead.
I am anxious to see Michone back in action. And what about that baby Gracie? it didn’t look real to me.
OK, I have some vague memory of a family that decided to head out on their own. Was that them?
But it would have been quite a feat to make it from the East Coast to the West Coast during the ZA.
Is the plan that they use the zombie hoard to pin down the bulk of the Saviors in the Sanctuary while they go around wiping out the outposts? Because as usual, the show is terrible at conveying space and geography.
Seriously. How about securing their prisoner before having the ethical debates? Or just kill him. What’s one asshole more or less at this point?
Overall, I found the episode to be kind of “meh”. The world’s most boring firefight.
Yup, that was them.
Ah, good. I was sort of scratching my head wondering if he was one of the “Vatos”.
I voted ‘hated it’. Bad writing, cliches everywhere, impossible to follow what was going on, crazy plot armor for the main characters, etc.
What was going on at the beginning? I thought maybe we missed an intro or something, because the show opened with what looked like our heros recovering from a flash-bang or something. That was never explained.
One of the Saviors threw a grenade towards them in the last episode. I guess it was the same guy who got eaten by Shiva.
I used to enjoy Talking Dead, but both episodes so far this season were duds. The first one was completely unwatchable for anyone who isn’t a raving, teenage fan or something, and this last episode was just plain boring. They kept claiming that they needed to keep Negan alive because the plot demanded it, but that’s nonsense. Creative writers can easily take the storyline in a different direction. This seems more like laziness imposed by the producers-- Hey, we have the cast in place for this season, so make it work.
