Howdy from da cave! Irk is over for the day. ‘Tis a dreary day so I’m glad to be in my warm, dry abode. I have turkey innards on to boil. OYKW is swipin’ The General’s dindin. Life is good.
This can not end well. DH was called in to work tonight, so there’s been a schedule upheaval and I will have to go to the grocery store tonight. Not looking forward to doing hand-to-hand combat with the Housewives of Contra Costa County to get the last bag of cranberries.
Sounds like swampy’s DQ thinks the rhinestones in his tiara are actually diamonds. I’ve run across a few of those.

Today was procurement day for (almost[sup]*[/sup]) all of the food for Thanksgivish weekend cook-a-thon(s). Some of said procurement involves daid aminals that used to have fins & scales. This year it is king salmon instead of sea trout. This is the only reason that you will not be whacked with a wet trout. However, please hold still so you can be thwacked on the upside of the haid with a piece of fresh king sa{silent L}lmon! :mad:
- I forgot to get the peppers. However, they are not needed until Part II of cook-a-thon, on Sat.
Well then, make sure you accessorize properly! 
Supper was sketties. The bag of sauce I pulled out was frozen last June. It was still yummy! Cookies for dessert. Life is good.

It is indeed time to crochet. I’m making scarvesfor my sisters. I’m learning a new stitch and crocheting two skeins at the same time. 'Tis a tad befuddling, but I think I’m figuring it out.
The executive housekeeper at irk lost her hat the other day. I’m going to make her one like my spiral beret to replace it when I’m done with the scarves.
Any hope of a batch with butterscotch chips instead of raisins? 
I so do not want to go to class, do laundry, or anything else that’s awaiting my attention.

gotti this is why I buy the stuff in the can. Always plenty of it on the shelves, and I get to hear that schwump sound when it slides outta da can. Have fun with the housewives of Contra Costa County!
Also, it would appear DQ (the tiara wearin’ one as opposed to to the bovine one)has given up. OK, most everyone has him on ignore, but JDD Partner called to report that the two who did not put him on ignore have heard nuttin’ from him this evenin’. I reckon he got the hint. Really. He is not a friend. He has all kinds of family around here. Mayhaps he has poed 'em all. Again. Let him eat a Banquet Frozen Turkey Meal I say.
On that note, I shall now go check out a couple sites and then betake myself beddy bye. OYKW has announced his intentions to turn in as well. He’s better than a blanket on a chilly night.

Today was a productive day in the studio. By the end of the day tomorrow, all of my holiday cards plus the ones that have sold will be finished. It looks like I’ll likely go back to irk Friday. Yay! (If anyone wants to check my headspace, feel free.
