[li]Battlefield Earth (though I knew this was going to be awful going in) [/li][li]Wild Wild West[/li][/ol]
That list is wrong. Woo is worse than Wild Wild West. Much worse.
What, no Zardoz?
Okay, two problems with this.
For a list of bad movies, the blurbs don’t say anything about why they’re bad. That’s the whole point of this kind of thing, to say why they suck.
Their entry for T is The Last Airbender. I don’t care how bad a movie is, “the” does not count for purposes of alphabetizing.
You take that BACK!
Seriously, there were no bad movies before 1997?
I guess I’m lucky to have not seen most of these “worst” movies.
I caught most of “88 Minutes” on TV. Didn’t strike me as particularly bad.
Seemed like a typically forgettable B-grade movie.
Likewise saw most of “Queen of the Damned” on TV, and though it is a big dumb movie, I actually found the flashback sequences rather interesting.
Saw maybe half of “Catwoman”, enough to understand that it earns its place on the list.
“Son of the Mask”: This stinking pile of poo needs a brain-hazard warning branded onto it with a hot iron.
For a proper evisceration of this horrible, horrible movie, check out the Nostalgia Guy’s review. (Now that’s how you hate on a bad movie.)
Agreed. The whole purpose of these lists should be to point out the main flaws of each movie.
As lists go, this one was really bland and joyless.![]()
This must be clickbait, because I can’t find the list of movies. I have not developed the intuitive skills to navigate clickbait. Also, I can’t even back-button out of it without closing my browser. Please warn us in the future when you link to clickbait.
I don’t have time to scroll through 36 slides, but something’s wrong if the winner under “H” isn’t “Howard the Duck”.
I’ve only seen a few, but the listing under “L” needs to be Lifeforce.
On the internet there’s no anything that happened before the creator of the web page was born.
No kidding.
The person who compiled that shitty list should be forced to watch Plan 9, Manos, and any others we can all think of, back to back, with his eyelids held open.
And the only one in the list I’ve seen is Battlefield Earth. I guess I’m better at picking films than he is!![]()
They should have chosen Toys.
Heretic! You should be stoned then burned at the stake! Mathilda May as a naked Space Vampire! What else does a movie need? ![]()
I was subjected to Fair Game, a movie with Cindy Crawford and Megaforce.
I think this illustrates an important point; good movies last while bad movies get forgotten.
If I had been composing a list of bad movies, I would have included a lot more movies from the seventies and eighties. Because I’m old enough to have watched those movies when they were released.
There were certainly movies just as terrible made back in the forties and fifties. But I never saw those terrible movies; nobody was watching them in the seventies and eighties. The only movies I saw from the forties and fifties were the good ones. And I’m going to assume the writer of this list is a generation younger than me and only saw the good movies from the seventies and eighties.
I have not seen any of these. Lucky me, i guess.
Hells yeah, Zardoz!! Wait, *worst *movie?? Aw HELL naw!!
Apollo 18
Catwoman
Disaster Movie
Fantastic Four
I Still Know What You Did Last Summer
Little Fockers
Year One
This is a pretty sorry list. No Plan 9? no Robot Monster? no Reefer Madness? OK, that’s two Rs. But, no Terror of Tiny Town? What about Gus Van Sant’s Psycho? Not a single Roger Corman or William Castle or Ed Wood movie. Tsk-tsk.
If B ain’t Blair Witch, it’s Bullshit.
