The WoW "Burning Dog Legion" (Cairne/Horde) 10-man Raid List.

DPS Plate boots?

Assuming you don’t want to spend on the BS ones? The ICC10 ones are from Gunship. I dont’ think there are any others in ICC10. There are ones from Halion as well, if you decide to try Ruby Sanctum.

The easiest upgrade from 200-level ones will be in the ICC 5-mans. FoS drops tanking boots (last boss) and HoR drops the DPS ones (last boss as well). Both are 232 iLvl. There is also a pair of 219s in ToC 5-man.

Another possibility, if you have some spare honor, is the 245-level PvP plate boots. Even with the wasted resilience they might be an upgrade. They cost like 34k honor I think.

Nitpick: The mage doesn’t attack anyone–it channels a spell against your ship’s cannons. If you got killed by something over there, it was Saurfang. Er, rather, Bronzebeard, since you’re Horde.

Yeah that was my fault, Bronzebeard was evade bugging out really bad last night. Couldn’t get aggro before he cleaved Yeti in the face, but I did rez him as a ghoul on the next jump over :stuck_out_tongue:

If we do decide to save and hit up Rotface next week I think we should give Dreamwalker and maybe Princes a try. Putricide may be a bit too tough right now, plus I’ve always hated that fight.

Well, Jragon if you go for the Hellfrozen Bonegrinders, I can BS them for you.

Ok, so maybe Bronzebeard did come over and say “Hi” to me…:o

Putricide can bite my butt. Another vote for Rotface/Blood quarter/Dreamwalker. I wouldn’t mind making one attempt at PP just so folks can see it, but I don’t think BDL as a whole is ready for him yet.

I’d definitely be cool with skipping Putricide - I’ve already seen that fight, but never seen the blood princes or dreamthingy.

I’ve never done Blood Council, so that will be fun. Putricide I can take or leave. Dreamwalker I’ve done on my priest but it will be fun with the pally.

I mostly want to see Blood Council and Dreamwalker as well, so long as we mop up Putricide eventually.

I was pretty busy with work yesterday (it does happen), but I setup the raid this morning before I read the thread. I’m up for extending the lock if no one objects.

Hey guys, long time lurker checking in. I’ve been considering a change of WoW scenery lately and am thinking of transferring my Mut. Rogue and/or Disc. Priest to Cairne to join the guild - I spoke briefly with Yeticus Rex in-game and from what I can tell from lurking in this thread, it seems like the BDL would be a great guild to join!

I’m thinking right now I would only transfer my Rogue (for the time being)… Armory link here: Ovelia

I’m not assuming I’ll get a spot in raids right away or anything like that, but for scheduling purposes I am in the Pacific time zone and am available just about any night of the week, but I’m really only looking to raid once or maybe twice a week, tops.

Let me know what you guys think and I can get the server transfer in motion. Thanks!

We don’t (yet) have a formal system for deciding who gets into raids - honestly until we started ICC our problem was not filling the raids at all; the last couple weeks it’s been pretty much first-come-first-serve with some players voluntarily bowing out.

Welcome Chocobo! I don’t know that we have any active Rogues in the guild, so that will be a nice addition. I sort of abandoned mine at 78.

Right now we’re only raiding once a week (Mondays at 9:00 server/Central time). One of our members (FlightlessBird, aka Rottingbird) sends a weekly invite to all the level 80s in the guild. So far, those who accept the invite are gauranteed spots in the raid and the other spots are filled first-come first-served.

We’re starting to get to a point where one of two people end up sitting out each week, but we try not to let anyone get left out too often. That might not be a problem so much when Cata drops and more people will be focused on leveling again.

We have one level 80 rogue, Laradon, but he hasn’t been raiding with us.

Oh right! Sorry Lar. waves

I was thinking in terms of those who have joined us raiding but I said it wrong.

We love new members! Yeah, actually I send the raid invite to all the 80s and a few ex-memebers. Once BDL…always BDL, unless you transfer servers

Only once have we had 10 people confirmed, usually it’s 7 confirmed and 5 tentative. But we always seem to find 10 doggies to raid. And if you sit out, I usually make a note and make sure you get in the next week, even if I have to sit.

Welcome Chocobo!

Hiya! With a name like that, I hope you ride the Blood Elf mounts everywhere.

I try to when I can, although my Rogue doesn’t yet have one… :frowning:

I finished up the server transfer today, but the name was taken so I snagged a new one: Meliadoul. I’ll be on intermittently throughout the week to try to snag a ginvite sometime. Thanks guys, and see you in the game!

Oh, and just checking, but you know about the main WoW thread here, right?

Yep, Kalathan is on vacation for two weeks, so I won’t be available for the night of the 4th either.

10 people confirmed for tonight!

Unless anyone objects, the request to extend the lockout and move forward with progression has been made.
So which bosses should I read up on? Rotface, Blood Prince Council, Blood-Queen Lana’thel?
