The WoW "Burning Dog Legion" (Cairne/Horde) 10-man Raid List.

Depending on timing (if it isn’t too late) Muz will be available. Though of course I don’t know the fight.

So, OS was pretty easy - did anyone even die? We could definitely do Sarth +1; something to keep in mind if we get through our scheduled instance and want to do something quick.

Just curious about these weekly raid quests – how do you get them? I think Kalathan has one raid quest in her log that I picked up ages ago and have never bothered with – Noxx the Plaguebringer must die or some such. Is there a quest chain she has to complete before she can get the Naxx weeklies?

There’s a guy in Dalaran, in the Violet Hold (near the entrance to the instance) who gives out the quest - if you already have a weekly in your quest thingy you aren’t eligible for another, so you should probably just drop the one you have.

Yeah Runestar - if you don’t get to do the weekly quest in a certain week, you should drop it and pick up the new one. It resets on Tuesdays.

Another success on KT: Link1, Link2.

I know more got shots, and there probably better quality.

As for OS, no one died, but I dd get DC at 11%. Not sure what happened because I could still hear you through vent.

Next week, OS+1 then EoE?

FYI, you should be able to complete a previous week’s quest. The problem with that is, it will be much harder to find a group for an old weekly if it’s old content. Most people won’t want to run in and kill Noth, for example, on any week where the quest isn’t to kill him. Something like Marrowgar (or even possibly Sartharion) might still be doable on an off-week, though.

they’re - they’re - they’re probably better quality. grrrr

Anyway. I’m glad we’re getting this done, and really happy we’re getting lots of response. Had 11 accepteds and 5 tentatives last night, which forced us to get volunteers to drop. Luckily we are in this just for fun, so no one is missing out on gear grabs:) I hope everyone else is having fun with this. Soon(ish) we’ll get to some more challenging raids. I know LB still needs to gear up (wow-heroes gear score: 2108ret, 1753prot). I think a couple others do too, but we do have a few who are OP and I don’t want to lose their interest.

See! I can use the write their. :stuck_out_tongue:

*the rite there

Fix’d.

I was actually glad you didn’t need Kene for OS, since my alt Keyne got put in Sunken Temple and I would’ve hated to drop. But I definitely want to do EoE next week. If we’re consistently getting more than 10 people signing up, we might need to come up with some kind of rotation so people don’t feel bad if they get left out one week.

Speaking of Sunken Temple - Shade of Eranikus dropped Dragon’s Call which would have been awesome to get, but I lost the roll (I think the rogue got it). That’s the only time I’ve ever seen that drop, I’m pretty sure.

I can only speak for myself, but I don’t mind running old content with the guild – it’s just the fact that we’re doing guild runs that’s fun. We’ll eventually have the gear and experience to tackle the harder things (after EoE, we can probably start working our way through Ulduar and ToC without too much trouble), and I’m not in much of a rush to do so, as I’m enjoying the casual atmosphere. There’s usually also enough people willing to drop with no hard feelings on days where we have more than 10 sign up – if I don’t get to raid, that just means I get more sleep that night

Sorry I haven’t been around much lately. I’m out of town for two weeks (my mom had surgery), with only my laptop. I hate playing on my laptop.

I hit 80 on my priest, and I’m starting to gear him up for raids. I’ve been striving for healing, since it’s what I know and am good at – but it’s sounding like maybe we have too many healers? Should I switch to shadow and concentrate on that instead?

It’s up to you; whatever you enjoy – a lot of us are dual-specced and can switch around as needed. We do have a lot of healers, but many of us are just as happy switching to an alternate spec.

In terms of next week’s raid, I’m definitely in favor of starting with EoE, in case we need to deal with a bunch of wipes as we learn the fight.

Not raid-related, but since this is a Burning Dog thread: tonight is our weekly alt dungeon run, 8:45 server. We’ll be doing Sethekk Halls again, which gave us fits last week (but we had a couple of pugs). I’ve got some ideas to make it go a little easier tonight, hopefully.

I set up the raid event as OS followed by EoE. But that’s only because OS took us 30 minutes to complete (and that was after getting together and there). Even with a drake up, I’m hoping we get it in one or two.

EoE will be fun. I encourage everyone to check out the videos for the 3 phases. Especially phase 3 because you don’t use your spells, you use the drakes’. So it’ll help to know what you can do. Phase 3 under Strategies has the list of drake skills

Thanks. I would much rather stick to healing, to be honest, but I have no problem having a shadow off-spec and dpsing when needed. I definitely will dual-spec when I can afford it. I leveled 70-80 almost entirely healing instances, so I think now I’m going to blaze through the quests I skipped over. I should have a ton of gold in no time.

Question: On WoW-Heros, it shows that we did not get credit for Kel’Thuzad (on either instance)…any explanations?

You might need to check the “Live” box and click “Search” again. I loaded up your page and it shows you have earned the “Kel’Thuzad’s Defeat” achievement (and in fact it shows you killing him twice).

You are right…my personal page (Yeticalayla) is correct, but the guild progress page where Burning Dog Legion is listed (somewhere around #175) shows that our guild did not get the credit for the Kel’Thuzad raid from those two previous weeks. I thought the link I gave would have linked the 4th tab (Realm) and then you could select the secondary tab (Guild Progress)…and either the “latest kills” or “10 man” option would take us to the list in question.
