There be kitten!

Not Brittany?

flees

Luna. Just popped into my mind the moment I saw her…Little Luna Patoona Baboona

Remember to tell us what you ultimately decide upon!

I don’t know why, but the pic just says “skirts” to me for some reason. Based on appearance, I also had a chain-name. First thought was “Princess”, which led to “Belle” of the ball which led to “Ella” (cinderella), which led to “Frenchie” (also in part because of how her markings look sort of like she’s wearing a beret)

Felicia would be the feminine form!

gosh, what great names! thank you all for the suggestions.

i love princess but i can’t call her that because that’s one of my nicknames for maggie. can’t use speck, either, because that’s what maggie *used *to be called before i got her.

when i first got turk - very similar circumstances as the little girl - i dubbed him ‘morsel’ for a while. hard to believe today that 18-pound beast was ever small enough to fit in the palm of my hand!!!

at the moment, i’m leaning toward ‘widget.’ at four weeks she’s so tiny i’m not really seeing personality yet, so nothing’s set in concrete.

latest update: the divemaster is going to take her for a while so he can bottlefeed her for me, since he works from home. i’m concerned she isn’t gettting enough feedings with me working at the office three days a week. he did the same thing with turk, way back when, when i got him.

hard to believe the turkinator is 9 and maggie’s pushing 4!

Bette (for those Bette Davis eyes on her).
And, lest I forget, SQUEEEEEEE! That is one adorable little furball!

I like Scrap! Might sound too close to Speck though, hrm…

Edit…after a second look, the first word that popped into my head was ‘ono!’. As in, ‘Ono, look out for the cute kitty! Argh!!’
So…Ono!

Widget is great, cuz you can call her Widgie Pidgie Puddin Pie

We adopted an adult cat named Tyke, who was CLEARLY too big to be a “tyke” - when asked about the rationale on this name, his former mom said “you shoulda seen him when he was a baby - he was such a cute little Tyke!” And it stuck. And to this day, he wears it well.

Yeah, I skipped the female form because my Latin is a bit crap. Thanks, **Baker **and Infovore.

Obviously, more pictures are required. Especially of the bottle feedings. 'cause men bottle feeding kittens is adorable.

Dimi - for diminutive
Lili - for Lilliputian
Peewee
Tiny
Button
Elf
She’s so tiny! I can only think of tiny names!

Jaws.

Regards,
Shodan

LOL. i’ll see what i can do. he’ll have her for a couple of weeks at least so i’m sure there will be a few chances for some photo ops what with me dropping by to check up on her.

i miss her already… :frowning:

Spats - for the white spats she has on her front legs.

We had a black dog with one white foot that we named Spat. Great dog.
One more vote for Sqee. It suits her, and I did.

She looks very Oriental Shorthair to me, and floral names are traditional…
the one that pops into my mind is Peony >^.^<

Hey, I’m a guy and I did not sqee!
Nobody heard me. You can’t prove it.

Yeah, but I bet you squeed!

If a carnivorous plant squees in the forest and there’s no one to hear it, did it really happen? (if they even live in forests. Don’t they live in bogs or something?)

How about Niblet?

This is Carnivory. We don’t squee here!
