Cooked a nice meal and while sitting down to partake I sat on the edge of the tablecloth spilling my tea into my plate and over myself, chair and floor. I cleaned it up as good as I cared to and have decided I didn’t want anything to eat after all. I am sulking. There was plenty of food so I *could have ate but * screw it. Aggravated. Tahred. Gonna take my night time pills including Ben and knock out I hope. Thank God tomorrow is Firday else I would play hooky. I only go so far with EOM and nowhere on FOM. Tis been one of those days.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 72 Amurrkin out and clear (well, dark) with a predicted high of 91 and afternoon/evenin’ rain/tstorms/apocalypse. We shall see. This mornin’ I shall take care of some duties over to the church house and then, well, not much else on the agenda. I get to meet our new Organist/Music Director this mornin’ and give him a key to the church house. Like MetalMouse said, retirement is awesome! We shall sup upon chikin nachos (OLÈ!) which are easy to make so most of the day shall be in chill mode.
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, alas, alack, bother of bothers, I must needs purtify and don appropriate bein’ about the public attire.

We’re finally getting some rain!! Yesterday evening, we had all kinds of wind and thunder, but nary a drop fell, and I was mightily displeased! :mad: But I woke around 3:30-ish, not sure if it was bladder or boomers, but much lightning was flashing with the accompanying noise. And when I finally decided to drag out of bed around 6-ish, rain was definitely falling. So yay!
Higgs wasn’t too happy - I think she ran from the garage door to the dining room door before I even got out of the garage. But she did go out the second time for her cookie, so here’s hoping I don’t find puppy puddles in the house.
Daughter has an interview today (fingers crossed) and SIL is scheduled to work, tho I don’t know if the weather will cancel him. Anyway, I have Roxy this morning. We’re going to make a trek to Penney’s to pick up the shirts I ordered for her, and I’d like to stop at the Amish market, but I don’t know if they’ll have harvested anything because of the rain. We shall see.

Nothing much to report here, went to the gym last night and was nearly dead by the time I’d finished. I’m going to a spin class tonight so I will spend an hour pedalling furiously and getting nowhere, only to drive myself home to deal with my grocery delivery that I ordered last night.
Busy weekend ahead, I have a haircut booked for tomorrow, a band to see in a hot sweaty venue, and I am visiting the doting parent on Sunday.
Back to the grind!

Morning all. Have checked in for my flight tomorrow (very short visit to my old homestead in N. Ohio), so that is done. Back Sunday afternoon. Flight leaves at 6:15am, so short night tonight.
Have my on-line courses pulled up but am not clicking them yet, the one I need to take is an annual requirement (on concussions) and I know it so well I can almost repeat the lines.

Met the new CO today. He was very nice and seemed interested in what we do. Perfect Bob was with them (also our acting director who is also our administrative officer). Countdown is on and PB is T minus one week.

It was raining this morning when we went to the park, now it is N.O.S. and warm.
I should be outside doing something.
The neighbor said he is going to put the roof on the shed today. I doubt it.
I fired off a very nasty email response to my representative today. I signed it off with a big FUCK YOU, and that NO, I do not want a response. I didn’t even want the original full of bullshit email.
And another letter in the mail from allstate. My son has no job, no license, no car, but they can save him $507/year on car insurance. All righty then, I wonder how they’ll do that.
I’m a bit grumpy today.

I have binge-watched the last of The West Wing - the last few seasons weren’t as good as the first few, but I kinda like the way they wrapped things up. Plus I made 2 more baby hats while watching. And Roxy napped for 3 anna half hours! I guess our shopping trip wore her out.
**FCD **and I are going to Cracker Barrel for supper because I want the Friday Fish Fry special. That’s pretty much all that’s on the agenda tonight.

The first post on the new 'puter!
My cow-orker got me all hooked up except the big, fancy-schmancy printer. Turns out it wasn’t Windows y\7 incompatibility that was the problem but likely a hardware issue. It is now out of warranty and is unusable, even though I only had it hooked up for six months. Because it has a new set of ink in it and another in the desk drawer, I may put it on CL and list it as is, include all of the ink and price it so that the buyer gets a deal if only for the ink.
Tonight, I will get some more stuff set up on it and play with it. Tomorrow, I will pick up the connector for the old unit and copy what I want to transfer to a thumb drive to paste in the new unit.
Meanwhile, someone is begging to go to the dogpark and supper shall follow.
