Ok, ok.
But really. There’s a new Edy’s Ice Cream out, Pumpkin, and it’s great and Grand!!! Fall is near it says!!! And the nutmeg yumminess is outstanding!!!
They have an apple pie version out as well, going to get some this weekend.
How sad is my life that I get excited about a new ice cream? But it’s sinfully GOOODDD!!!
I can’t have it myself, but there’s a very yummy B&J flavor out there wandering the wilds with cinnamon as its core ice cream flavor. Can’t remember what the other component is… I tried one bite and instantly regretted it, only because I couldn’t really have another.
Apple pie ice cream is great. I wrote to Edy’s a couple of years ago and complained that it shouldn’t just be seasonal. But now that I have a Publix supermarket across the street, I can get Publix brand Aple Pie ice cream any time I want. In fact I just finished off a half gallon last night!
Now I’m just waiting for Edy’s to bring back Gingerbread ice cream 'round Christmas. Didn’t have a chance to get any last year.
For the past few years I’ve not been able to resist Baking smells and tastes… very decieving when you walk in my door and it smells like I’m baking, you have a 50-50 chance that I may actually be.
So now I have to wait for the Gingerbread ice cream, but I’ll be looking for the cinnamon based Ben & Jerry’s, thanks for the heads up.
I tried the Edy’s Gingerbread ice cream last year and really liked it. Never realized that cinnamon ice cream would be that yummy before. I didn’t get to enjoy it fully because I decided to try low-carbing right before the holidays (yes, very bad timing). According to the Edy’s co. website the Gingerbread Man ice cream is supposed to start showing up in September, so hopefully we’ll start seeing it soon!
Thanks for reminding me to look for it at the store next time I go.
Ruby you live in northern Indiana and have never heard of pumpkin butter? Head south, hit an Amish farmer’s market and you’ll find quarts of it!
Pumpkin butter, pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin bread, pumpkin cake… All are magnificent. Pumpkin soup, pumpkin pie… There is almost nothing the amazing pumpkin cannot do.
