If both of you want to ride with me, I need enough time to empty the back seat. Since I’m normally alone in that car, I don’t tend to care what accumulates in the back… 
And I do drive a Scion which isn’t known for its leg room - just so’s you know.
Last load of laundry is washing. Painting is done. I’m showered and more or less dressed to be seen in public. And it’s barely 9:30!! Yoiks!! :eek:

Morning!
Up and almost running. I have laundry drying that I washed over night and I am headed out to Zumba in about 15 minutes. Then a pedicure. Then dinner out with mr ems then then the PBR bull riding tonight.
I suppose I should go and put some clothes on before I head out!
Yeah, mmmmmmmmm, it’s probably a tad chilly to be cavorting outside all nekkid and stuff. At least it is here. Weird to think it’ll be spring-like in3 or 4 days.
Well, that was quick! We dropped off OYKW’s vehicles for its new shoes at nine a.m. and went to Sam’s to get some non-perishable stuff. Whilst checkin’ out he got a call sayin’ vehicle had its new shoes already. This was not quite an hour even! So we got his vehicle and headed on back to da cave. Sam’s stuff is all put away and he’s decided he wants more sleep time so he’s in the bedroom snoozin’ as I post. Fine by me. Nice day to be lazy.
y’know something? it sucks to be helpless. there’s less than 2 inches of snow on the ground, but I can’t even clear that myself. grrrr. :mad:
I slept way too long this morning and now I’m irritated. I’ve lost my morning and it’s too late to go into work and be home at noon. My plan was to be in by six so I could get out of there at noon. Oh well, it’ll be longer nights this coming week, I guess. I guess I just saved the government having to give me some comp time. I’m such a good steward of government assets. :rolleyes:
I expect to see pics of the little fest because I am sitting over here on this coast being all jealous and stuff.
I am trying to finish my caffeine mainlining and then will shower. I want to knock out some errands before we have to take off to our friends’ house this afternoon and I can’t do them on the way since we’re bringing the dogs with us.
It’s a dark and drizzly morning, normal weather for the PNW in January. The hummingbirds are darting from the pine trees to the feeder and back, they entertain me every single day.

I had a difficult night, this menopause crap can stop anytime now. It’s been years and my hormones are still swinging madly. The thermometer says 39F and my window is wide open because I am HOT! :mad: And not in the good way. :eek::(:rolleyes:

Today is my 27th wedding anniversary and we’ve been together nearly 30 years. Where does the time go? It’s been ride, let me tell you. However, we’ve persevered and here we are.
Time to face the day and make myself presentable for the public. Much to do, not enough time; as always.

Showering is complete and I’m now giving my hair time to air dry a bit before I attack it with the implements of doom; i.e, hair dryer, curling and flat iron.

As my oldest sister said after her 10th anniversary, if you haven’t killed each other by now it just might work.

No, not the way I use it. It’s hard to explain, but if you look at my FB profile picture, you see the result. I like a little curl and lift to my hair, but if I use just the curling iron, I end up with too much. I use the flat iron to manage that and give my hair just a touch of sleekness.
My hairdresser tries to do it for me, but she has just given up and lets me do it when I see her. She wants to learn it, because she likes what it does to my hair and some of her clients have commented on it as well.
Besides, no one can do your hair the way you do your own. At least this way I don’t have to come home and redo my hair.

Day 1 of bee course was fun -it’s over 3 sattidays, so I still have 2 days to go.
Unfortunately, I was being very dozy and not concentrating well, as I only got a few hours sleep due to being randomly woken by my leg deciding stupid o’clock in the morning was a good time to get cramp. Not had that before, and there’s no rush for it to happen again. Ow ow ow.
Other than that though, the day is being rather good- I had an inexplicable rebate cheque from the tax office, which is very odd, 'cos I haven’t been working for the last tax year, so I haven’t paid any tax to be refunded… It’s large enough to mean I shouldn’t have to choose between going on a trip I was hoping to go on in May, and getting the car through its MOT, even if I don’t find a job before then.
I’m not cashing it 'til I get some kind of explanation for it, but I ain’t complaining!
And Mooom, my inability to plan more than a week ahead aside, we should definitely time a minimumpfest if you come over 'ere! You could bring Mooom mom! I’ll bring the coasters.
Zumba done and pedicure done and ran a couple ofmerrands. I have pretty toes
It is 2.44 in the PM and mr ems is still in his PJ’s and robe although now I think I have guilted him into going in the shower 
Gotta pack an overnight bag for tonight in the hotel then we are headed downtown for dinner and drinks and bull riding. Tonight promises to be entertaining!
