Welp, Albuquerque had the cold temps a couple of weeks ago, now the temps are in the 50s. So sorry for all the folks who are suffering with the very cold temps, though, it’s definitely not fun!
We’re having chicken wings tonight, rotisserie seasoned. Should be tasty.

Home from Evening Prayer over to the church house. I did my Slackolyte thang tonight and didn’t even mess up once. I even remembered to ring the bells durin’ the Sanctus. Go Me!
BBBobbio yay for Scott. I like the idea of not goin’ easy and goin’ against the odds. Who knows, maybe he’ll hang in there a while longer.
It turns out Miss Mary ain’t ready to give it up yet either. Now she has a feeding tube and even agreed to it. Her doctors seem to think that if she can gain some strength she can go b ack to home which is an assisted livin’ place.
There is another “Miss Mary” at St. Pat’s who is pretty much at the last. A dear, sweet lady who has had AD for quite some time. For her it really is a pretty much anytime now situation. She is one of those bright, cheerful people who always has sump’n good to say about everybody. I have always loved it, when ushin’ and we open the doors from the Narthex into the Nave when she’s enterin’ the church proper. She always says, “It’s always a treat to be greeted by such handsome men!”
And on that note I do believe it is beddy bye time.

Wow, My family life is messed up. (Was going to use a stronger word than “messed”, but I don’t know if swearing is allowed in the MMP threads.)
My mother is in a women’s shelter 2 hours away. She was told by the shelter people not to go somewhere where she could run into her husband (my father, who isn’t a harmful man - either my mother’s been slandering him, or it’s simply a shelter policy for her not to be allowed to run into my father.)
Well, my mother went and invited herself over to our house - that is, she’s coming tomorrow (Thursday) and staying at our house overnight, because she wants to see a play in a theatre here in Montreal. She’ll drive back to the shelter on Friday morning (and not tell the shelter people she was here.)
My mother’s seeing a play put on by a local theatre group. I strongly suspect that the reason she wants to see the play is because she has a crush on one of the members of the theatre group.
My father and sister and I aren’t exactly happy about my mother coming over, but… at least it’s only for a night?

I have to say, he is kind of cute in that he shakes so his loose skin makes flopping sounds and then he stares at me. The cute part is that as soon as he sees me move his tail starts wagging so fast.
So I get up to put him out and I think
